My wife and I are very happy with the work that Comfort Techs did with installing our furnace and air conditioner install.  We looked at 2 other Heating and Air Companies before deciding on Comfort Techs.  John with Comfort Techs was great to work with.  He told us in detail different options to go with and was really helpful.  We wanted certain features like a thermostat that would control the humidifier and one which I could use my smart phone to control.  We also wanted the 5 inch filter for the furnace which he included with the bid.  The bid was competitive  and John told us all about the rebate incentives that the manufacturer and that Lincoln Electric System  had and THEY took care of all the paperwork with filling these forms out and registering the furnace and air conditioner with the manufacturer.  John was easy to talk with, listened to what we were looking for in the brand that we were interested in, and went the extra mile to provide us with a great experience with the purchase and install of the furnace and air conditioner.

I think that it was Jory and another guy with Comfort Techs who came out at around 7:45 a.m. and worked hard throughout the day (we didn't see them even take a lunch break) and finished around 6:00 pm.  They were careful to lay down a drop cloth on the stairs and cleaned up the work site when they were done.  They replaced the old heat pump unit, removed the rock and dug down and removed the old bracket and installed a new air conditioner bracket and unit against the foundation.  They removed the old furnace, installed the new lines, coil, furnace, and ran the pvc pipes from the furnace to outside the back of the house (they were careful to give us options and asked us about where to run the pipes before starting).  They also installed a metal extension and trap at the end of a existing fresh air supply for the water heater which I had asked John about.  They finished cleaning up around 6 pm and tested the system and went over all the thermostat controls with us and helped us out with setting up some of the programmable heating and cooling settings for each of the days of the week.  Before leaving at around 6:30 p.m. one of the guys gave us a explosive gas/ carbon monoxide detector to use in the hallway.

My wife and I think that Comfort Techs did a great job and highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a new furnace or air conditioner installed in their home.

I am very particular and I am always looking for the best deal. I hate paying for something and then having problems. I did a lot of reseaqrch as to brand performand and installers. I received quotes from many different installers and brands. American Standard had a low repair history with a great 10 yr. part and labor warranty. Lincoln has three installers. From what I hear, all three are good. However, ComforTech provided the best option and price. Additionally, JOhn took the time to analyze my system and determine that I did not have enough cold air returns. He was the only installer who even took the time to look! Which to me shows me that he wants to do it right the first time. My system is working great! I can already tell the difference and it is only May!

They came out and gave me a very good estimate, it was a very complete estimate. They asked a lot of questions. I went with a high efficiency air conditioner and furnace. They had a 10 year warranty on them. They also sold American Standard which is an American made product which is another reason I went with them. They showed up on time, didn't mess around, laid down tarps to keep the stairway clean, and they were very thorough. They knew exactly what they were doing. The two guys came in and in one day they had the unit up and running. They were very efficient, thorough, clean, and neat. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. There were no surprises on billing or anything. It was a very good experience, really very pleasant. I am very satisfied.

Our old geo furnace broke down, mid December, and we had no heat. John from Comfort Tech came out within a couple hours, and inspected what we had-old furnace, house size, duct work, heat vents, and cold air returns. He return to his shop and came back with some portable heaters to heat our house. The next morning called with an estimate, detailing what it would cost, and what kind of savings there was for us in the form of factory rebates, local utility rebates, and federal tax credits for the type of unit we wanted.
We gave Comfort Tech (John) the OK to get things started and installed as quick as possible. The new geo thermo unit showed up in town on Friday, and first thing Monday they were here installing it. Were very professional, covered the carpet from the door to the furnace with tarps, cleaned up after themselves, explained everything they were doing to me.
The other company (who I had been using for 23 yrs) I contacted for an estimate took two days to show up (and I am without heat as for as they knew) and another two days to get me an estimate, which was considerable higher.

The home that my husband and I purchased recently has radiant heating in the basement and we were having issues controling the temp as it was always sweltering in the basement when it was freezing outside! I called ComfortTech on the recommendations from Angie's List. I got a call back from Zach who agreed to come to my house on a Saturday as I explained he'd be dealing primarily with my husband who isn't available during the days because of work. Zach was happy to make the schedule work for me.
He arrived promptly and got right to work. My husband explained that this system was new to us and he explained what he knew about the system. Zach took his time explaining and showing the system to us and how it works. He explained why we'd been experiencing high temps in the basement (we had it set to bypass the thermostat and run constantly). He also answered all our questions and took his time doing so.
In the end, he didn't charge us because he said he didn't fix anything, it was just an explanation of a well-running system that we have. If and when a problem comes up in the future, I will call the professionals at ComfortTech. I was very impressed!

He was on time and did his work in a timely fashion. I was happy with his work. I would use him again. In fact I'm going to have him work on a home unit of mine as well.
