They are expensive but they are good with our animals.

They are fabulous. I went to them when Dr. Ebers was still with them, and now it is Dr. Welty. He has a whole bunch of other people working there now that half the time I do not remember their names, but they are just really good. It is not just taking your animal in, get their shots, and they are done. They make sure that their teeth are doing well, make sure they got their flea stuff for spring if they are outside, and make sure they got their Heartworm stuff. They do not sit there and tell you to buy things because I tell them that either we have some of that at home or that I found it online for a lot less. They just tell me to make sure to follow the directions and to call them if I had any questions. I like that a lot. I had noticed that the cost had gone up, but so have medical cost for everybody. If you think about the fact that they know how to take care of many different animals because they do all kinds of animals, I think they are fairly priced. We have gone to them for all pet health care. One of our cats had urinary infection all the way up to euthanizing our pet. They have a really great response time. A lot of times, I could get my animal in the same day I call them as busy as they are. It just amazes me. It depends on what you are coming in for, but I do not think I have ever waited for more than one week. Generally, it has been within a couple of days. A couple of times I had to wait, but if you pay attention, you know they are helping somebody else, and I guess my thought is I want them to pay attention to me and my animal when I am in there; not be looking at their watch and thinking of their other appointments. Our last visit was not happy since our old pal was not doing well but they were as professional and compassionate as possible.

I don't recall if I called them first or just showed up, but I went right away. Someone greeted me at the front desk, assessed the cat's health and told me the cat would have to be put to sleep. I was so upset about the cat being poisoned, that I started to cry. The employee took me into an examining room so I wasn't crying in front of other customers, which I really appreciated. They didn't know me or the cat, but they were very professional and compassionate, and made a difficult situation much easier.

Capital Animal Clinic are great! The staff and doctors are very good and respond quickly. They are all knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I would recommend their services to anyone.
