He did a wonderful job and even fixed a couple things he noticed on his own without extra charge. He was very clean and punctual and the quality of work was excellent. We will definitely hire him again when we need some fix-ups done in our home!

Tom was quick to respond and very punctual for the initial consultation and also on the day he came to do the work.  He provided us with a competitive bid, but when the work took less time then originally thought, he actually charged us less than that.  I have worked with many, many vendors/contractors and he is one of the FASTEST responding guys I have worked with!  Very pleased with his work.

Tom is a consummate wood artist with great vision and an amazing array of skills.  He helps the homeowner select showroom sources to review products, select people to help educate, coordinate and order best choice materials. He is very good at what he does.  Those of us that have been lucky enough to have him do work for us enjoy any reason for another project with him.  Like most talented carpenters, Tom is frequently scheduled several weeks out.  And Yes, he is definitely worth any wait.

Tom is friendly, professional, competent, and experienced.  He listens to what we want, offers his advice, and comes up with a solution.  We have come to trust his judgement and his integrity.  We went through a couple of other people before we found Tom who basically just sold us their services, but then sent out their inexperienced employees instead.  But Tom actually does all his own work, which means you are getting the benefit of his years of experience.  He is also very detail oriented, which is very important to us.  We will continue to use him in the future for all our home improvement needs.

Mr. Barrett provided an estimate that was very close to the final bill (which was less than the estimate) before we hired him.  He was punctual, polite and respectful, and did a great job!  It looks great and the column is sturdy.

We have used  Tom for other projects.  He is pleasant, trustworthy, listens to our needs, cleans up before he  leaves everyday so we do not have to deal with a big mess.  He will phone if he is going to be late, usually due to picking up needed supplies.

Tom is reliable, listens to what we wanted, contracts electrical work needed, leaves the area as clean as possible at the end of each day.  Trustworthy with home's door keys.  Pleasant, affordable, quality work!

He is cost and time conscious. He is prompt and communicates his job plan well. In addition he communicates information during the progress of the job effectively. The 2006 job was completed a few days ahead of schedule and under budget. He cleans up the area in which he is working before leaving for the day (night). He is trusted with a key to the front door as needed.

Really well.  Does excellent carpentry work.  Matches stain well.  Always pleasant.

A joy to live in.  The complete house renovation took over a year in all, but it is now wonderful and beautiful.

As the daughter of a carpenter, I know first-hand how messy a home interior can get with sanding, sawing, etc. I was amazed at the care Mr Barrett took with our home and keeping it livable during the remodel. I, who have a demanding attention to detail, was satisfied with the work, the timeliness, the care, and the attention he paid to my concerns. I could ask for no better treatment.
