We called Aire Serv out as our AC line was freezing and the air was not coming out cold. The tech who came out told us we need a new evaporator coil, and we have rust in the unit also. We asked what we could do in the meantime so we could stay in the house, he said he could put refrigerant in but we shouldn't cause it's expensive and it would just leak out. We decided to put it in anyway and see if we made it til the new coil got here. We were then informed that the cost of the coil and labor would be $1900 out of pocket and that was after the home warranty. We decided to get a second opinion (our AC was still working fine after three days). We had Elite come out and the tech informed us that there was a small leak in the coil, it didn't need replacing, just tightening and there was no rust. I run a dog sitting business out of my home and I had to cancel dogs for this week because I didn't know if the air would be working. They also charged $389 for 3lbs of refrigerant. I would find a different company, they do not care for customers at all!

How did it go. NOT GOOD. Found this company on Angie's List and was rated A. Called this company to repair my furnace. The tech talked us into buying the Silver Plan that would included inspecting the Air Conditioner this Spring and again the furnace this fall. I never heard another word from them so called today and basically was told that they are so busy that I should be the one to set up a time to schedule the inspection. Any question I asked her she avoided to answer it and I was told the tech would answer all questions when I tried to ask her what the Silver plan covered. She said she didn't want to give me a wrong answer. I have to give her a 5 STAR rating for avoiding answering any questions. Asked to speak to a manager she said she would leave a note waiting to hear if I receive a call back. Oh just got a call from Andrew the tech and said the office doesn't work Sat or Sun that I was to call the office Monday and say hey what's up why haven't you scheduled an inspection for my air conditioner. Hey that's why this company gets an F............

Last spring, when we had our air conditioner checked, a problem was found where the unit was slowly leaking Freon. We decided to replace the unit instead of fixing it. Long story short, everything went well except for the experience with the sales person. She was all over it in making the sale but afterward it seemed like we didn't exist. There was a problem in getting receipts emailed to me. I simply wasn't getting them. When I asked her about this, she stated that they are automatically sent so I should have gotten one. I had to call her twice to get the receipt with the correct dollar amount and she was irritated that I called, both times. What I found out later from a tech when I asked the same thing was - the email address had been entered incorrectly. You'd think this would have been checked when I initially stated that I was not getting email but it never was. Overall, Aire Serve has top notch techs and service is outstanding. The experience with the sales person really irritated me however especially when I found out what the problem was, a year later. It still irritates me to this day. The sales experience led me to believe that once I bought the unit, the sales person dropped me like a hot rock and from that point on, I was someone else's problem. I'll keep dealing with Aire Serve in the future as long as I can deal with someone else in the event something needs to be purchased in the future.

I paid for a service contract to come twice a year to check our furnace and air conditioner. They checked the air conditioner in the Spring and never came back. I have never heard from them. They were suppose to come back for the furnace in the fall and the never called or showed up. They never bothered to contact us. They are pretty lousy. 
Don't call this company. They are not reliable. They don't do what they say they are going to do. I would not recommend this company to anybody. They overcharged me, then disappeared.
