Mark Poese

My ex and I hired Mark to remodel our kitchen. Which was to include new flooring, updated cabinets and countertops. We got most of the cabinets installed and once he got his money he ghosted us and never finished the agreed upon work which was all detailed in our contract that he drafted and we both signed. We took him to court and he never showed and we won our case but received no restitution! We should’ve verified his references sooner because he had scammed others as well. I searched his name on the internet he had & he scammed the Boy Scouts years ago, Do NOT trust him or give him a dime you will regret it!!

Poor workmanship - floor is uneven in kitchen and back yard patio.  Poese cut down a neighbors tree and it crashed into our new fence, he had just installed, and never repaired it.  He also never did the painting, or installed the new front door.  Keep in mind this man was paid in full - in advance - for all products and services.  In addition he stole a brand new 41 inch TV.  I, among many others, have filed complaints with the BBB as well as the local police and county attorneys.

Called him on another occasion to correct poorly installed ceiling lighting - came the next day and corrected the issue quickly and economically
Called him with emergency of water pouring into the basement - came wihin hoursChanged out the facet, added turn off knob and covered the hole with a nice "door"
Mark is truly awesome. Professional, nice, fairly priced and fast!

Everything Mark did was top quality. His measurements for the formica and counter cutouts were perfect, and the counter top install was expertly completed. When he installed the new sink, he even replaced some of the pipes that he felt were subpar. He also attached the disposal and updated the electrical outlets to meet code (it is an older house). We called Mark and asked his opinion on a backsplash - he suggested Subway Tile and provided an estimate within 8 hours. He did the work 2 days later. Again, the work was expertly completed - the tile work is beautiful. Mark also installed some flourescent light fixtures into the ceiling and did a great job. He also cleaned up after the work was completed (it was appreciated). I found Mark on Craigslist - I lucked out. Mark is courteous, experienced, on time and he is a perfectionist. I highly recommend him for house repairs and remodels. I have his number on speed dial!
