 + 0 moreWe are extremely pleased with the work that was done, both this year and last year. The finished work is obviously of highest quality and maintains its appearance and functionality very well. Lynn is a master painter with decades of experience in home construction and repair. He is very upbeat and pleasant to work with. Helped with decision- making by offering superb suggestions and options. Works mainly on projects where owner is staying in the home. Normally worked from around 9am to 4:30 or 5pm. Scheduling beginning and ending dates is somewhat flexible depending on how many changes are made during the project. We are retired and were at home most of the time, but we were comfortable leaving for appointments and shopping. Charges only for parts and labor. No overhead.
Description of Work: Removed old ceiling (drywall and 2x4 supports), Boxed-in hearing ducts and water pipes. Installed baseboards, crown moulding and other woodwork. Prepared walls and ceiling for painting, including smoothing, filling and repair. Installed lights, fans and outlets as needed, including running wiring. Updated electronic fire alarm system. Modified heating/cooling outlets and pipes as needed. Paint all -- walls, ceiling, and doors. Refinished stone fireplace and built-in bookcase. Boxed in steel support beam and supporting post. This was the second major remodel Lynn did for us. The previous year he remodeled kitchen, living room, and upstairs bedrooms and bathroom (which included identifying and repairing rotted floor boards near toilet. Installed and finished cermic tile in bathroom and kitchen. Refinished kitchen cabinets and painted interiors.
