We needed a new tub valve assembly installed in our Jacuzzi tub. It was difficult to reach, so we knew we needed a professional to install it. We contacted Schroeder Plumbing because they had been recommended in our neighborhood, and they did not disappoint. They quoted the job based on pictures, and the quote was reasonable. They set a time, and they arrived just before the scheduled time. They were professional, efficient and cleaned up nicely when they were finished. The job took slightly longer than they expected and they has to add an additional bit of pipe, but they held to the quoted price, and made sure we were happy with the work before they left. In the main bathroom the on and off valve was stuck. You could only turn it on about 10 percent. I called a couple of places he was the only one that called back.He came out, the job only took about 10 minutes to do. He just had to pull off the knob, there was a piece back there that came off, a little plastic piece, when it came off it got lodged and you could't turn the water on. He just removed that, it was that necessary to have. It was very simple, I also had him take a look at my garbage disposal. He charged for an hour. I think he worked on the disposal a little longer than he needed to, but i think he wanted to fill that whole hour up so i would get charged for a full hour. It was $100 bucks an hour. I was ok with that. I wasn't too up set or anything. I told my wife what to do, I don't think she listened correctly. she went underneath and you can take a little wrench and and loosen it up but there is also that reset button. I don't think she remember to hit the reset button. I think if she would have done that it would have kicked back on. He said some of the teeth inside were kind of sticking.He said he was working on that, trying to free up some of the teeth to help grind some of the food down the drain. Im sure in the next couple of years ill need to replace.For price i don't know, I don't know the difference. I would say an A. I haven't had a plumber out in a long, long,long time. For quality I would grade him an A. He didn't have to make a mess or anything.It was pretty simple and straight forward. For responsiveness i would say A. I called one day and he called back the next Like i said i called about 3 or 4 people.He was the only one that called me back. When i first talked to him he said he will be out in the next day or two .He said it would be somewhere when i got 20 min or half hour between jobs I will come out and do it, but he did call before he came out. That was fine, there was no set time of a set day.

After installing new pilot assembly, water heater was working great. No more cold water.

I called about replacing the hot water heater.  I purchased at home depot.  We arranged a time. His crew (2 men) came on time and installed it.   There were no difficulties.
They removed the old heater, and cleaned up after themselves.  His charge was at the low end of his estimate.  I marked the cost as good as I don't know what others might charge for this service.

It went great.  Schroeder Plumbing has always been out plumber of choice and will continue to be until Rory retires.

The bathroom faucet was dripping.  Shroeder came out and determined what it needed, told me that it was lifetime warrantied.  I ordered the parts then after we received the parts,  he returned promptly and installed.  This is the second time we have used them and they return calls, show up on time, does the job right, and never tries to sell or repair anything that is not needed.

Rory was great!  He came out the same day I called.  I had a roofer who broke a plumbing vent stack and attempted to glue the two broken ends together.  It wasn't a proper repair -- so when I had another roofer out to correct other roofing mistakes I called Rory and he was able to arrive when the other roofer was here and get my pipe fixed properly.  Rory arrived promptly at the designated time, assessed the problem, left for parts, and was back within an hour or two to get the job done correctly.

We couldn't be happier. Schroeder Plumbing is located in Elkhorn. Rory Schroeder prefers to do most of his business in Elkhorn and west Omaha and is not always available to come into mid-town where we live. That said: I would unequivocally recommend Rory Schroeder for any work that he does. He is honest. He is polite, he is professional, he is competent, he always returns calls, and he meets his appointments. The only reason why I gave him a four on responsiveness is because of his desire to accumulate jobs in the more eastern parts or Omaha so that he does not have the travel time to come into town for just one job. If you live in mid-town and have a job that can wait, I recommend you call Rory Schroeder and get on his schedule. You will not be displeased. If you live in Elkhorn, put Schroeder Plumbing on your speed dial.

Repairman showed up promptly at the correct time.  He knew exactly what the problems were when we described what was happening, and had it fixed in no time.  He also saved me from having to fix what I thought was a problem.  He simply tightened a connection and solved the issue.

Our water heater quit working Thursday night. I called Friday morning and he came out within the hour to see if he could re-light the pilot light to get it working until he was available to replace it on Monday morning. The pilot lit okay and he told me that we could have them bring a water heater of the same volume on Monday or, if we wanted, we could go to a local home repair store and buy one and have it there for them. We would save $100 to $150 if we got it ourselves and saved them the time and trip. The re-lit pilot lasted through the weekend so we had hot water the whole time, and we went and got a water heater on our own.
I left a message Sunday night on their machine and told them we had the water heater and asked it they could re-set a toilet that had a broken bolt and how much more that would cost. Roy said it wouldn't be too much since they would already be there and one of them could do the toilet while the other put in the water heater. They arrived at about 9 a.m. and got busy. Rory disconnected the old heater, Rory and Roy carried it out to the truck, and Rory installed the new heater while Roy fixed the toilet. In an hour, the new water heater was installed, the toilet was re-set, everything was cleaned up for us, and we did indeed save over $100 from the original estimate of cost for the services.

Rory and his crew were great! The job was done great and the finish work in the yard was beyond great! I couldn't believe how well they did and made the backyard look better then when they arrived for sure! I would recommend them to everyone and have a few times already.

The plumber replaced a water filter faucet I had boughten and fixed two dripping faucets. I have another set of faucets that he checked out that are so old that we can not find cartridges for and I will probably have to replace completely in the near future, and will require tile work and/or retrofitting. He phoned at the beginning of the day to let me know about what time he would be on his way, then again when he was on his way. He was prompt, courteous, and wasted no time getting right to work. Fair priced. I will definitely hire them again. |

Rory arrived tools in hand, analyzed the situation and immediately went to work fixing the problem. Parts van had everything needed to take care of replacement parts. Rory had recommendations for the outside repair and made the new outside hookup better than the original.

Plumber arrived promptly and installed the cartridge in a few minutes. It works great now. I felt the price and service was good. I would recommend them to others for their plumbing needs.

Left voicemail, received call back. Worker arrived at agreed upn time. Was very pleasant and efficient.

Plumber responded to call within a few hours. We made an appointment that was convenient or me. He came on time and got right to work. Plumber explained the issue and was able to correct it immediately. He also provided advice on how I might prevent this problem from recurring, Most notably, on my end, we made an error with the sink after the plumber left. I called him and on his way out of town for Thanksgiving, he returned my call and told me what to do,

They fit me in around my schedule during a busy time just before Christmas. Our initial complaint was a water hammer that we expected to be a big issue. He was able to reproduce the noisy vibrations and diagnosed the culprit as our basement toilet. He rebuilt the innards of the basement toilet and secured it to the concrete floor (previous owner never bolted it down). He also fixed the drain stopper in the basement bathroom.

Schroeder Plumbing were quick to respond to my call and set up a date to come out and do my repairs. They were professional, quick and neat. They cleaned up after themselves very well. We were happy with the service and their pricing.
