The following were the problems encountered: 1) After Ron demolished the old tub and tile we had to wait a little over one week for the new tile to arrive. Ron never should have started the job before the new tile was on hand. 2) I stressed with Ron the importance of the new tub not being nicked or damaged in any way. I related how another tub installed earlier had been nicked. He promised that would not happen. 3) After the job was finished I pointed out how the tub had been nicked and the marble floor chipped. Ron only acknowledged the damage after I pointed it out. He filled in the nick in the tub with a different white color so that it remains noticeable. 4) The day after the job was complete and I paid in full a crack developed where the tub met the tile. This crack appeared before I ever stepped in the tub. Ron repaired it several days later. 5) With another couple of days the crack re-appeared and this time Ron took almost two weeks before he came to repair it. 6) Communicating with Ron proved almost impossible after I had made the final payment. He ignored repeated voice mails and texts. When he responded he kept talking about his 14 hour work days and how he would get back to me when he could.. 7) When a crack appeared a third time Ron refused to respond until two weeks had gone by and then promised to come by "soon" to repair the problem. 10 days later I contacted Ron and he told me that I should deal with the plumber since he did not feel this problem was his responsibility.
