Everything went according to plan. They got me in on short notice and the service experience was good as usual.

I get all of my regularly scheduled maintenance done at old mill. They're always on time, don't charge an arm and a leg, have good hours, and do a great job. Couldn't ask for anything more.

I made an appointment, which I recommend, to do regular maintenance for my car. They did exactly what they said they would,do on time and on budget. The facility is too small but the good news is they are moving to a new facility at 180 and Dodge. This should greatly improve the experience. I recommend them to anyone.

Car cut out/hesitated heavily on acceleration with a corresponding check engine light.
First time in they blamed the accelerator pedal assembly and changed it out for $465. However, they had to order the part. The part was delayed and they never notified me. *I* had to call them back to find out when it finally came in! Poor customer service. When they replaced the assembly they assured me it was fixed and ready to go. But they never tested the old assembly (which was not bad) when they took it out, so 2 hours after having the car I had the same problem.
Second time back (and it took 5 days to get another appointment), they tell me it was the ECM (electronic control module - the and quot;brainand quot;). They changed out the ECM, and told me, and quot; Those are really expensive to replace, but luckily the old one is still under warranty.and quot; It was still under warranty because it had been replaced due to a recall a few months prior. Guess what, on the drive home I had the exact same problem.
So, third time's a charm. I brought it back the next day. Turns out the speedometer cable connector in the dashboard was loose so they pushed it in tightly and now it works. Doing my own research I found out the loose cable was sending an error code to the ECM (which of course was not broken) and the computer interpreted the error and sent the car into what is called and quot;limpand quot; mode. Every time it happened the car would cut out/hesitate while the computer redirected the engine to and quot;limpand quot; mode.
So in the end I spent a whole lot of time without a car, a lot of frustration each time it was and quot;fixedand quot;, and $465 for them to push a cable in tightly. I know the first part could have been checked when it was taken off with a multimeter. I am certain it was not. I'm pretty certain the ECM could have been checked too. And their comment about the ECM makes me wonder how much more they would have charged had the ECM not been under warranty.
This is why I usually do most of my automobile repairs myself.

After they finished the work, the car still ran rough. They wanted to replace the air conditioner compressor because they said it was growling, but it works fine. They called us back the next week to see how things were going and they offered to do a free diagnostic. We don't know if they even plugged the engine into their computer. At that point, they wanted to replace one or more of the injectors for 600 dollars plus. The engine is still running rough. This place just seems to want money.

They were courteous and professional. All the work was done in a timely fashion. A couple of days later, we were unable to get the license plate off the car, as the screw was rusted (and stripped, after we tried to unscrew it). My husband took the car to Old Mill, and they got the old rusty screws off and replaced our license plate for free.

I must say that I used this dealership because it is in close proximity to my home. When I bought my Toyota from them and they told me they provided good services, I thought "yea right". They really do though. I have been impressed with them.
