It went well we did have them come back out to fill dirt under outside unit due to them having to install in the rain. They made room in their schedule to get our a.c. in & we are very appreciative of that.

They did not securely fasten the line under the deck and used a lot of tape to seal around my furnace duct. The tape job does not look very good and I had them return to fasten the lines. They did the job quickly, but it's been functioning fine all Summer, even with the extreme heat we had. They also did not initially check the circuit breaker to make sure that it had enough capacity to power the compressor. I found this out after the AC was turning itself off. They did return to troubleshoot that problem and recommend a larger breaker.

Price was the lowest of the quotes I had received and only one other quote was close. Jason was friendly and easy to work with and put up with my many, many questions and went over different options with me. He recommended a standard AC and HE furnace over a heat pump install and I am glad we went that route.
The quality of the work reflected the low bid. It is all functional and much better than a DIY job but also not neat and perfectly fitting. i should add that I am a bit fastidious though. The humidifier was miswired, but that was easily corrected.
Our AC went out at the beginning of July (HOT!) and we decided to try and get the low interest loan via the Nebraska department of energy. That was taking a while and it was very hot outside, modern houses were not designed with natural ventilation in mind.
I was speaking with Jason on the phone when he realized that we still had no AC at all. He offered us the use of a portable AC unit that he had. He did not have the job and he did not even have an indication from me that we were planning hiring him. Needless to say, that is what sealed the deal. I don't know why every HVAC dealer doesn't do this!
We have been very happy with the installation and the price and would use Comfort Worx again.
