The furnace was not operating after a loss of power when the furnace was hot. A call to Nebraska Heating and Air resulted in a technician arriving in just over an hour. After extensive diagnostics he determined the problem was a temperature overload reset. Yes it was a simple fix, but some other places may have charged for the time diagnosing. All in all $100 is very reasonable in these days for a service call. I've used this business once before and was very pleased. I will call on them again when needed.

I called Nebraska Heating & Air, Inc and advised I wanted estimates for both electric and gas furnaces and a new AC system. They came out and met w/ my wife who said they were polite, professional and listened to what she had to say.
John called me several days later to set up a time to go over quotes and options. I explained my schedule and he was willing to come out after hours or on the weekend to speak w/ me. No other shop had offered that service.
When John showed up on the allocated date/time he went over 8 detailed quotes, explaining the differences giving me brochures and data sheets. He gave me a full estimate to include installing a new gas line to replace the all electric furnace, which several shops were unwilling to do. He described to me the work they would be doing as we walked through the house and utility room. At one point I asked about doing a few things differently like other shops were willing to perform and he flat out said they would be unable to perform the variances I inquired about as it would compromise the quality of the end product/install.
John exchanged approximately 22 emails with me answering all my questions, providing updated proposals all the while giving the same attention to detail as he did initially. The few times I called he always made time to answer questions and not make me feel rushed.
When I found the system I wanted, we set up a date to install. His techs were professional, polite and very clean. They cleaned up everyday and communicated any issues that arose. At one point we needed some additional wiring done( as estimated in the proposal) and before sending the 3rd tech over John called me to let me know there would be a third person present w/ the 2 other techs. They did take 2 extra days longer due to some unforeseen complexities however they were adamant not to rush the job or sacrifice quality.
When the install was completed I was unavailable and John met w/ my wife and fully discussed the operation of the new digital thermostat and set up a separate date to me w/ me to do the same. When I met w/ John he went over things w/ me and even found a few issues he wanted to adjust to make things perfect. Jake has since called to set up a time to fine tune the system.
I purchased a 2-stage gas furnace/2-stage ac system and immediately saw a marked improvement in comfort. They weren't the cheapest but they weren't the most expensive. However, their estimates were the most complete and any adjustments I inquired about, new computerized proposals were emailed so after, which made tracking our decisions easier. Our final bill was spot on as estimated.
I will have them take care of any future HVAC issues and I'd be adamant to recommend them. Their top notch customer service is unparalleled and I could only wish other businesses in the area would be half as good.

Very happy with service provided. Called for an estimate to replace heating and air which he came out same day and they are actually from town 30 miles away. Emailed me an estimate by next morning. Called to get some other ideas for pricing which he provided right away by email. Tried to get us financing. Professionally answered all my questions and concerns about the purchase and equipment. Ordered the equipment the same day when decided to go with this company and had the equipment in when stated within 3 business days and came next day to install. Installation team was prompt each day, laid down drop clothes in house and cleaned up after. Very courteous and professional and followed my requests about watching for my cats not to get into crawl space. Was presented with final bill which was exact same price as estimate and was able to work in a humidifier that was extra option within the budget we had. Contracted their own electrician to come at the end to update our wiring to current codes and made sure that issue that arose during this work was taken care of promptly with a call to them. Followed up to make sure everything was working properly. Offered us 24/7 emergency service calls in the future and maintenance contracts available in future. Very happy with the price and the professional work received from this company. Highly recommended!!

Appointment went very well. I didn't have to wait days or weeks to get an appointment. Jake, the Technician was prompt, thorough and knowledgeable. He even went the extra mile by coming back to reset the humidifier. Since I am new to Nebraska, I wasn't familiar with all the unit extras, he spent extra time to ensure I understood how the furnace, humidifier and programmable thermostat work. It's wonderful to find companies that truly are a service company who put customers first.

First, the final bill was LESS than the estimate! Who does that?!?
Second, the service was very professional. Mr. Tomlinson told me he could fix my current equipment but also (in a non-pushy way) recommended I replace the system because he felt the fix would simply delay a bigger problem and cost me more money in the end. They uninstalled and removed 2 old heating & A/C units from my office and installed 2 new systems. They were not disruptive to my business operations, laid cloths down so they didn't dirt on the carpet and were very polite and courteous. The utility room looks better than it has ever looked. Not only did they do the work contracted, I asked if they could fix a few other issues while they were there and they did. i can't recommend Nebraska Heating & Air enough!

I recently had a problem with my air conditioner during the hottest part of the summer. I call NE Heating and Air and within an hour or two they were at my home and had it running. I did need a new heat pump and they did a very professional job installing it. They were careful, courteous, and I had air the same day they installed it. I highly recommend NE Heating and Air.

They were on time. We had talked to someone else asking for an estimate, they didn't respond. This company responded right away. They gave us a bid in a timely manner. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very friendly and courteous. They added a year of free service to come check on it if anything else happens.
