We scheduled a washing machine repair with this guy through whirlpool's warranty service and he didn't show up or even give a courtesy call to let us know he wouldn't be here. I had to call him to find out what was going on and reschedule. At our second appointment he again didn't show up or even call us. When we were finally able to get him to work with us he still wouldn't come out because he is in Broken Bow and we are 75 miles away in North Platte. He said Whirlpool wouldn't pay him to come out and diagnose the machine so he would only do it over the phone. He diagnosed our machine over the phone and said he would let us know when we could expect the parts to be in. We never heard back from him. We contacted Whirlpool to try to get someone else to do the repair but he is the only repair man they use in our area. We ended up having to pay someone else to fix it out of pocket, when nearly a month after we first contacted Whirlpool we still had not seen a repair man. The repair man that we hired came out and diagnosed it. The diagnoses that Staab's did over the phone had been wrong, so he would have come out with the wrong parts anyways if he had ever showed up.
