DAVE'S KEYSTONE LANDSCAPING

Hired Dave's Keystone Landscaping to build our retaining wall as recommend from our builder. Wall lasted about six months and started separating and pushing out. Spoke to Dave and he said he had subcontracted the wall out to someone else but would fix it. That was 8 months ago.

UPDATE: I'm sorry to say, I spoke too soon. There was a pile of debris left that they did not haul away and despite repeated conversations, including two during which I told him that the Code Enforcement officer was asking about the mess, Dave never came back to remove the last of it. We finally had to pay someone else to haul it to the dump to avoid assessing a penalty from the City.

 They left a pile of "topsoil" that was going to be distributed on the ground after winter was over and the hillside had a chance to settle due to the snowmelt and rain. It was squarely in the area of the lot where we needed to build raised garden beds, so at the beginning of March, I began leaving messages for Dave asking when he was going to come finish the job. He never bothered to call or message me back; my husband and I ended up moving the pile ourselves with shovels and a wheelbarrow. That's what I get for paying in full for a job that wasn't finished just because I liked the contractor.

Apparently, he's one of those guys who are great as long as you still owe him.
