About us
Reuter Construction has been in buisiness for 10 years. Brian, (the Owner) is born and raised in Bellevue 38 years ago and has no intentions of leaving the area. We have experiance in ALL fases of your home improvement needs. From concrete to the roof, we can build anything you may need. For six (6) years, we were the deck builder for Celebrity Homes in Omaha. We also did siding and home repairs/warrentys for this home builder. We have built over 1900+ decks, 37 houses sided with vinyl siding, 122 roofs have been replaced, 46 homes repainted on the exterior and 114 homes repainted on the interior. From the smallest of repairs to a full out remodel or basement finish, we can give your home that look that makes you want to come home too. We are your FULLY INSURED/BONED and LICENSED contractor. While others say they are "licensed in Nebraska" There is no such thing. There are currently only two metro cities that have a "license" and Omaha is NOT one of them. Bellevue and La Vista are the only two cities that require a license. Bellevue you must be INSURED and BONDED, while La Vista you must have insurance. With Bellevue, you must PASS a test of all building codes to receive your license. What others are saying is a Nebraska License is nothing more than a registration with the states Workforce Devlopment. This agency makes sure that companys have workmens comp. Insurance on all its employees and states you have a buisness in Nebraska. AGAIN, this is not a license. Our point in this to to help homeowners save there money and not get taken. We honor and take pride in our license, and hope homeowners see that with our past customers, it shows.

On that day, December 15, 2012, I gave him a check for $4,350 to cover the roofing materials, with the expectation that I would pay him another $1,692 when the work was completed.
On January 21, 2013 I received a message via Facebook stating the shingles have been paid for, but he could not do the work until his truck was fixed. He asked for the rest of the money so that he could get his truck fixed. He said the
mechanic told him it would be done the first week of February 2013 and that he would be able to start on the roof at that time.
On January 22, 2013 I gave him a check for the balance (rounded to $1,700). I did not hear from him again April 23, 2013
when he shot me a text message stating he would do the work on the weekend of May 3rd. I responded (via text) asking
him to start one weekend earlier because I was starting to see water damage. That text was ignored.
I left him a voice mail on May 1, 2013 stating my roof was beginning to leak (we saw water on the floor). He came over
the next evening (May 2, 2013), put up some tarp, and said the roofing would be delivered that weekend (May 3rd or 4th).
As of this date, August 20, 2013, the work has yet to be completed and Mr. Reuter is not responding to my attempts to contact.
