Jeff explained possible issues and we agreed what would be the best course of action. He cleaned and adjusted the pilot so that it would work for this season and we discussed replacing it next year. Jeff called about 20 minutes before our appointment to tell me he would be late, which I really appreciated. I wanted him to check the way I had to start my gas fireplace because I felt it was unsafe. I had moved in 3 months previous to this and had not used my fireplace. Jeff checked the setup and instead of selling me a more expensive starter, he cleaned and reset the one I had and rearranged the stones in the fireplace for better heating. He encouraged me to not be afraid of the gas starter and showed me how to safely and easily start it. I saved money and now use my fireplace all the time! I will be using him for all my fireplace needs from here on.

Jeff Bybee (owner) was very friendly, knowledgeable & professional. He explained what he was doing while being efficient in doing it. Took the time to ensure that the white carpet around my mom's fireplace had not so much as a speck of dust on it. He gave a helpful tutorial on how to keep things cleaned properly & was reasonably priced. Mom's fireplace looks and performs beautifully once again. I will absolutely recommend this company!

Jeff did an outstanding job. He is very friendly and conscientious. When he arrived he greeted us, took his shoes off, and put tarps on the carpet before beginning any work. He worked efficiently and explained what he was doing. This is the second time we have had Jeff come out and I will definitely use him again. Next time I will call earlier in the season to get something scheduled before his work load gets crazy.

Jeff (owner) was very professional. Explained everything as he went along and thoroughly cleaned and inspected our gas fireplace which hadn't been done in over 14 years! He cleaned up after the job and ensured everything was in good order and functioning properly. Cost was very reasonable. Will call again in the future.

Amazing! Jeff was responsive and professional. Able to respond in under a week during the worst part of the sub-zero temperature weather. In under 2-hours he fixed the non-working pilot light, cleaned / oiled the noisy fan (brought it back to life!), stuffed the drafty connections and cleaned the whole fireplace. Looks, feels and sounds new again. Support the little local guy!

Upon arrival, Jeff Byee donned shoe covers and spread a large cloth around the fireplace to keep our carpet and the area around the fireplace. He worked quickly and efficiently in repairing my gas fireplace. He explained what he was doing and what didn't need to be done, something that was both educational and gratifying. I was pleased with the final cost, too. I knew I was dealing with a true professional and decent man and I wouldn't hesitate to use CKB again and recommend him to others.

Jeff Bybee completed a thorough cleaning of the fireplace. He cleaned everything including the burner, pilot head, t-couple, t-pile, air intake ports, logs and glass. He also sealed openings between the fireplace and outside. Jeff tested everything to ensure it worked. Jeff arrived at the time scheduled and explained everything he was doing. Tarp was laid down where he was working and he vacuumed the work area prior to leaving. I would definitely use this company again in the future.

On appointment day he was running a little behind schedule, so he called to let me know he'd be about fifteen minutes late. Much appreciated. When he arrived he inspected the unit, cleaned it thoroughly, made some adjustments, explained to us how it functioned, gave us some tips and suggestions on care and maintenance of the unit and at our request installed a blower kit. He was courteous, very professional, worked quickly and efficiently and when finished he left the place looking just like he found it, except with a gas fireplace that he had so thoroughly cleaned, it looked like it was brand new.
