Johnathon Curtis Designs was hire to install a beam and windows at a house we are remodeling. We got a notification on our door that the permit that he took out was not complete and that one should of been taken out on the windows. When I sent a message he said I don't have to like him. I thought that was a weird response. He told me he didn't work in Lincoln anymore and that I could take care of it. He said I didnt do it on purpose. He has been in business 7 years so he knows what to do. Also a contractor working with me said he just asked him to do a job in Lincoln that week. He lied to my face. It is very disappointing. The inspector came in and the floor with the beam had to be reinforced and it had cracked drywall we had just out up. He did not care about it and blew it off. I trusted him and he didn't want to follow up on his work. I would not recommend him.

I hired this incredible team to rebuild my deck about a year ago and was so impressed with the result that I went back to them for a kitchen renovation. Jonathan Curtis is a man of integrity and honesty, which is obvious after meeting him. These same qualities are shared by his team of miracle workers. My previous kitchen just wasn't quite "me" and I wanted a more modern design. Jonathan came with a variety of options for me, from counters to cabinets to flooring to everything else. His team always arrived on time and worked full days so I never felt neglected. They promptly returned after the final walkthrough to fix some tiny things and truly end the project, which took about a month from start to finish. The team kept my area as clean as possible after removing soffits and some drywall, which I greatly appreciate! And not in the least, I had JCD replace my windows (8 of them). He offers the best of the best (ProVia) windows at a significantly lower cost than most other vendors in Lincoln. I went from single pane to triple and didn't break my bank account! They are absolutely wonderful quality and greatly reduce the amount of outside noise and increase home insulation. This was something I could not pass up. Jonathon was great to work with and his crew was amazing. Jonathon helped us reconfigure our kitchen layout and was there every step of the way to help us pick out materials, hardware and colors. His crew was clean cut and dressed and all non smokers. I could tell they took pride in their work all the way down to the details. At the end of each day they cleaned up their mess. We are very pleased with our new kitchen and very glad we went with Jonathon Curtis. After a few months we noticed that the plumber messed up putting our p-trap together correctly and we had water leaking under our new floor and into the basement. I called Jonathon immediately about this which was a Sunday night and he came right over. We decided that most of the flooring had to be torn out and replaced. Jonathon had the plumber here first thing Monday morning along with his crew. Even though it was a stressful and frustrating time Jonathon had everything replaced and repaired within 2 weeks, mostly Because we had to wait for flooring to be delivered. But the point is that even though it wasn t there fault that everything flooded he took care of us in a timely matter which meant pulling his crew from other jobs. Jonathon has great attention to detail and is a excellent communicator. We are very glad that we used Jonathon Curtis Design!!!!

Jonathan Curtis and his crew remodeled our kitchen. They had a lot of great ideas, were pleasant to work with, and we were very pleased with the results. When small problems came up, as they always do on a project like this, they were ready with answers. We highly recommend them!

His communication was a disaster, the price quoted was not accurate to the actual cost, supplies weren't ordered in a timely manner. It's not appropriate to turn the problem onto the customer.
