I chose Kritterz because the Vet was very patient with me and my barrage of a million questions. She took the time to explain everything to me in detail, was pleasant to speak with and very friendly.
I have to be honest here, when I found the place, I was worried! It doesn't look like your typical veterinary office. It's hidden and small. The office, operating area and animals are all in the same space.
As soon as I was out of the vehicle, she was standing with the door open with a warm smile. She knew Muffin’s name and spoke to her just like we do.
However, the next day I called to check on our family cat. She was lovely over the phone and assured me that Muffin was doing well. She talked to me about Muffin’s personality and how she fit with our family. She asked about the brand we fed her because she wasn’t eating and she wanted to be sure she felt as much at home as possible.
I picked Muffin up after 2 days. She was happy to be leaving, but who can blame her after what we did to her! She is now almost completely back to normal, she is chasing her person (our 8 year old son) and playing and eating like no tomorrow.
I am so thankful that I didn’t let first impressions fool me! The fees she charged us were average within the limited amount of choices we have available out here. We felt it more than fair considering she allowed for a 2 night stay in the charges (that was because of the de-clawing) but even still, she allows for 1 overnight stay with just a spay in her fee.
We now have a Vet that we will call upon should we ever need one again for anything!
