It was maybe $1000 for the carpet and the install. It went really well. They were really good to work with. They have the carpet in stock most of the times. It was probably a week before they were able to install it. The workers were very prompt. They had a larger selection and larger samples. The prices were also better and it was faster. We also used them two years ago. We've used them twice and they've been really good both times.

Carpet installed ok, vinyl fair at
best, gaps by tub, used clear seal caulking around edges with plenty of extra left
on floor. Guessing since clear installer didn’t notice so didn’t wipe off before dry. A
cream color caulk would have at least covered the gap between vinyl and tub,
versus the black edge now seen between tub and new floor . The carpet garage
had the vinyl in "stock" when we paid, didn't have in stock when the installer
was ready to install.
Called about the difference in estimated
cost $800 to $975, placed accountability on installer, the installer placed
accountability on carpet garage. Guess who paid extra $175 and has a crappy
install. The prices are good for flooring, they get you with the install. I did
get a call back from installer, not to say sorry I overcharged, no to say he
was justified in charging the amount he did. Makes future decisions easy, use
another flooring store/installer.

I didn’t spend anything as my rental company spent for it. They did a very nice job. They were clean and respectful.
