it went really well - if doing work my self I would have did a couple things different to minimize weight of steps but overall very satisfied

His crew came in did the excavation and laid a
6and quot; gravel base on Friday then came back the following Tuesday as Monday rained
and finished the pour. The work looks great he even advised me on
staining and who to contact locally for products and advice. His crew
was professional and polite. I do Architectural drafting and estimating, have done concrete in the past and am finishing a B.S in Construction management. With this in mind I am anal about work performed, site safety and quality. If I had any little complaint i would have voiced it and request he make changes. As it worked out I am 100% satisfied and am already planing to use him again when I trim trees or extend my driveway next year.

Robert wanted to get the job completely done within four days. My wife and I told him we were not in a hurry just wanted job done well. Most aspects of job were poor. Probably due to waning to get it done so fast. Poor garage floor finishing, top layer of concrete coming off. Robert said he over troweled it. Steps were put in too high causing rest of driveway to be also to high side to side. Numerous issues with it job. Tried to voice my concerns and how to rectify it. He would not take or return my calls. Finally took him to small claims court and won a judgement of $5000.00 which is what we asked for. Still waiting for any kind of response or payment. In addition to concrete he also does other work as described at his website http://www.dakotahardscapes.com/. I strongly recommend against using Dakota Hardscapes.
