Auto Service
Staff was able to get me a same-day appointment and serviced my vehicle prompted at the scheduled appointment time. I switched to Sears for oil changes about a year ago after they noticed a problem with my engine oil during a post tire change inspection. My engine has been running smoother and with better MPG averages ever since, so I'm probably going to stick with Sears for oil changes. The only real downside with Sears is that scheduling appointments isn't as convenient as with other places and they usually can't take walk-ins since they have a full auto shop. That said, the quality of the job is worth that minor inconvenience.

Auto Service
I was a walk in the first time; they told me it would be a 2 hour wait, and the service would take about an hour and a half. I waited over 5 hours just to have them tell me a half hour before closing they wouldn't be able to work on my car that day. I then made an appointment, and they called me the day of, 20 minutes before my appointment to tell me that a walk in from that morning was taking longer than they thought so I would need to reschedule again. Terrible customer service, I don't have time to sit around and wait to see if my car will even be touched that day. Prompt cancellation would be appreciated, and knowing how much time things are going to take.

Auto Service, Uncategorized Services
Sears auto provides adequate service for oil changes. They're rarely punctual about their appointments though. Almost always wait 30-45 minutes longer than what we are told. They get the job done and if you have time to wonder the mall then don't hesitate using them. But if you are under staunch time constraints then I would recommend a servicer that has a better reputation for being timely. Sometimes the service rep has less then good customer service or knowledge of what the mechanics are doing.
