Dropped my perfectly healthy dog off for surgery on Oct 5th. Surgery was for an injury, otherwise healthy. Waited until i had my ashes to share this. My dog went into surgery, when she was sedated they started saving her and some time during this her heart stopped, however per her Vet, she was NOT on a heart monitor. They revived her after her heart had stopped for an estimated time of 3-5 minutes or so they say. I was called and told i could pick her up the next morning but no such luck. Make a long story short my dog ended up blind, deaf, had seizures, nerve and brain damage. I was told she be fine, however she never made it home. I had to have her euthanized after 7 days of suffering and not getting better. Not being told of course what actually happened, but tried to shift the blame saying she must have had some head trauma in the past (**** no!) or underlying conditions which the vet later retracted. She has been sedated twice before with no problems. First 3 days i pretty much had to beg for updates and was told at one time they didn’t have time to update me on my critically ill dog. Updates were better when i complained. Was allowed to come see her 3 days later and i was shocked. I seriously couldn’t believe what had happened to my spunky little dig. She was laying in her bed, unable to move, see and hear. To add insult to injury when i received her ashes the certificate stated a different breed of dog. The crematorium finally called me today and confirmed that the breed stated on her tag came from Pinkerton. After all they did to my dog they didn’t even put in the effort to look in her records what breed she was and just tagged her as a mixed breed when she wasn’t even close to a Pomeranian mix. Left me wondering for 5 days if i have my dogs ashes in my shelf or not. I was charged over $700 including cremation for the pain they caused my dog and me! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions with no hesitations and were very good at explaining how to take care of everything after the surgery.

Dr. Thunshell is very thorough in exams and follow-ups. Traditional in his medical approaches, he has given my cat dedicated care and guidance. My cat in now 16 years of age, an amazing fact since he arrived in Dr. Thunshell's care so long ago, burned (intentionally) and close to death.

I recently got a new 11 week old puppy and the breeder only gave him his first round of puppy shots. I called both Pinkerton and West Oaks and neither had any available appointments for an exam and vaccinations until the next week. West Oaks wasn't very responsive and just told me to come in and bring my paperwork so I could make an appointment! Pinkerton asked me when my pup's first shots were and advised that if I waited until the next week to come in that it would be too long between shots, but if I wanted to, I could come by and they would dispense the vaccines to me to self administer. I was a bit hesitant since I've never done that and they said I could just bring the puppy with me and they could have a tech do it. Anyways, I got up there around 4ish and since it was my puppy's first visit, they said he had to have a vet exam and that they would fit me in. I probably only had to wait about 10-15 minutes before they saw me (I've had to wait longer at other places when I've had an appointment!). All the staff were extremely professional and you could just tell they all love animals... I admit, my puppy (a boxer) is way cute, but you could tell everyone was very warm and caring. I was also very surprised that their charges were so reasonable - $85 included a vet exam, 2nd puppy vaccination, bordatella vaccination and antibiotics (he had a sniffle so the vet gave them to me just in case).

They were very sweet to my dog. Made her feel safe. I found my dog abandoned. They gave her shots and trimmed her nails and did an examination. I would go back.

They did not feel comfortable treating my bearded dragon for constipation. They even suggested a $100 x-ray because they just weren't sure what to do. But they did suggest diet change that was mildly helpful.

Overall I was happy with the vet. I plan on returning in a few weeks once I have my dogs full medical records so they can do a thorough examination.

A coworker found a stray Pomeranian that my daughter fell in love with. The vet was very helpful in helping us learn about the new member of our family. In short, he is old and has many issues but they helped me make the right decisions to give him the best practical quality of life. I really appreciated their care. We had a general check and a heart scan.

They are very friendly and thorough. They do their very best to get you in as soon as possible. They have about 6 veterinarians there. They do a very nice job. Their price is very reasonable and the quality is high.

Overall we were very unhappy with how he treated us, how rough he was with our small dog.
