In June, Edward came to give us an estimate on rebuilding a retaining wall that was crumbling on the house we were about to purchase. In July, after we closed on the house we signed a contract and gave a $4500 deposit with the intent that work would begin on August 1st. A few weeks later it was realized that August 1st would be moving day and a Saturday so we pushed back the date to August 3rd for work to begin. The week of August 3rd came and went and the company never showed. They finally came on August 12 for about 2-3 hours and started to tear down the existing wall. Then we didn't see them again for about another 2 weeks when they came with a bobcat to finish the teardown. After this we did not see them again until September 19 when Mr. Hopkins came to the house for about half hour and did no work at all. On October 1st, I sent them a letter requesting my deposit back and I hired another company because we had no wall and impending winter weather. In March 2010, I sued them for the remainder of the deposit and won a judgement, however I have not seen any money from the company.
