The sale went fairly well overall. Schwan was willing to offer me a better overall deal than other dealers in the area, factoring in the purchase price, discounts, and trade-in. They did promise me a lower interest rate on the loan than they delivered when I showed up to actually finalize the purchase. It was only about 0.5%, but had I known in advance I would have lined up my own financing through my preferred credit union. I arranged to buy out the loan with a new loan from the credit union, but it was an extra hassle I didn't need.
Also had Schwan install a tonneau cover and spray-in bed liner. Both appear to be of good quality workmanship. However, the GMC pickup bed has factory slots for removable tie-downs that are covered by plastic caps. The spray-in bed liner was applied over the top of all the caps, so I have to try to cut away the liner to be able to use the feature as intended by GMC. When I contacted the shop manager to ask what could be done to make them accessible again, I was told that it was now my problem and the salesman should have told me in advance so I could ask the shop not to spray over them. The salesman did not reply to attempts to contact him. Overall the deal went well, but it still left a bad taste in my mouth at the end.

The oil change and tire rotation went well. However the were a quart low on my oil. I checked the receipt where I was only charged for 6 qt of mobile 1 and my truck takes 7. I check my oil stick and I was indeed 1qt low. No problem I filled it up at my house.
