The installer gave us no time that he was going to show up. We had to wait for a phone call and be ready for him. ( We were informed that the job would be done by 2 or more people and be done in a day. One person showed up and it took 2 days. We ended up calling our places of work and asking for 'short-notice' time off.) We had no idea how this person was going to get these cabinets out of our garage and into the bedrooms by himself. We helped him unpack, unload, unbox and move these cabinets. One of the tall units would not fit into the door and he found this out by hoisting it up and putting a 3 foot by 2 foot hole in my ceiling. We received no opology for this, or any ideas of how it was going to be repaired. Apparently, we are on our own. The installer did not seem to own a stud finder either. He found studs in our wall by using his crow bar. We appear to be on our own to repair those holes too. He then nailed 2X4's onto our walls to help hold parts of the cabinets up. He did not patch the holes. As far as the cabinets go, every cut he made was a 'rip' cut. There is not a smooth cut on any of the pieces of wood. Every nail he put into the shelves splintered the shelf. The corners of the crown moulding do not match and assuming he used too large of a nail, every corner split. While hanging one of the cabinets, (a 3'X3' piece) he only used 2 anchor screws. He tried installing 2 more, but missed the studs and left the holes. There was no consistance in the screws he used to hold pieces together. It was a mis-match of counter sunk and washer type screws. He scratched the cabinets in numerous places, and couldn't even install the knobs straight. I would not let this installer step foot in my yard let alone in my house.
