Showcase Floors

I actually want to rate Showcase Floors a negative 5 rating if I could. My elderly parents had them install flooring in their house. It was done so poorly I can't even believe it. Some 5 star reviews I've seen on their website are no doubt coming from the owners themselves. You should see the corners - the flooring didn't even go under the floor boards! And where they had to cut the flooring for the heat register covering - they cut the hole too big. You can see the opening with the cover in place. Then my neighbors had them install carpet in several rooms. I couldn't believe what a terrible job that was either. There were long strings of carpet EVERYWHERE. I mean every 4-5 feet there were three or four attached long pieces of carpet my friend had to cut off. I know - one expects a few, but a couple hundred throughout the rooms? And then while I was there, she took me in another room, and she stepped on a sharp tack in the doorway. And she felt around, and every place where the carpet was cut and a new piece started, the tacks were sticking straight up. And I mean all over, every doorway and on her steps. And just yesterday, I found out another neighbor I used to live by, had these people do her new shower. I looked at her shower about 4 years ago when she first had it done and I didn't ask her who she had hired. I asked her yesterday and she said it was Showcase Floors. The tiles were uneven everywhere. On the walls and on the floor. I wish I had pictures because no one would believe it. I asked her why she didn't complain and make them do it over, and she said she did and they wouldn't. They thought it looked just fine. So trust me - don't put yourself through the heart ache and trouble. I wish I would have gotten involved in my parents ordeal and helped them choose a flooring place. The reviews I have read can't in no way be Showcase Floors. I've seen too much of their work.
