Poor workmanship. Used OUR supply of vapor barrier and covered up air vent and blocked sump-pump, and was not secured. Burned a hole in carpet and refused to fix it, just giving an explanation how it should not have happened and how to fix it. Styrofoam wall insulation was not secured as requested. Dean (our contact) was rude on the phone and had a condescending attitude. For the price of a 3 hour half a** job, rudeness, and destruction of our carpet I would not recommend Neighborhood Services to anyone.

Dean seems to have lost interest in his work. His sense of craftsmanship has declined to where I would never hire him again. His work has become sloppy and slipshod. This is especially important since my house is 100 years old, and care must be taken with the historic materials. He also tends to not quite finish projects, so he leaves things in a rough, unfinished shape. And his prices have gone up to boot. Last time he told me he would rather be sailing.
