Jobbers Moving & Storage Co- Allied Van lines

I moved from Fargo, ND and hired Jobbers Moving and Storage to store and move my belongings. I had a terrible experience with them. They completely set incorrect expectations from me when I moved. I used them to move my stuff out of my apartment and store them in their facility in Fargo for one month, and I was told that I would have to give them a call when I found an apartment in Chicago...at which point it would take them two weeks to find a driver and move my stuff to Chicago.

In the end, it took nearly two months for Jobbers/Allied to find a driver and move my things to Chicago. The manager at Jobbers was non-responsive, and never answered my phone calls. I rented an apartment and was paying rent, but could not live in it because I did not have any of my furniture or possessions. Jobbers was completely insensitive to this throughout the process, and did not provide decent customer support.

When my possessions finally arrived, the driver was 45 minutes later, and could not even figure out how to get my couch out of the elevator. I had to step in and tell him how to position it to fit through the doorway.

Overall, I found Jobbers/Allied to be unprofessional, unresponsive, and completely insensitive to the challenges of moving and being without our possessions. I would suggest you seek out other moving companies to assist with your move.
