+ -1 moreI had cracks in my walls that I wanted fixed. He came in, was very dramatic, brought in another person with whom he subcontracts, he was just as dramatic. They insisted the only way to fix the cracks in the walls would be to strip everything off of my ceilings from one end of my house to the other (the cracks were only in the living room) and insisted it couldn't be done for less than $24,000, which happened to be $1000 less than my budgeted amount for several small remodeling projects. I contacted a friend who works in construction and he gave me the names of a few other people. None of them came close to the amount Barstad gave me. I found someone who was able to fix the cracks for under $2000. They did a fabulous job. Shame on you Ron Barstad!
Description of Work: If you give them a dollar amount of what you have to spend, they will use every penny plus. They estimated a job would cost me $24,000 and I found someone else who did it for $2000. I guess he wanted to make some easy money from a stupid single woman. I will never consider them again for any job.
