Red Door Homes

I was involved with FEMA and SBA trying to secure low interest federal disaster financing due to flooding and Red Door Homes was very patient with me during that process.  They were very thorough and it was important to them that my wife and I were involved during the building process (framing, drywall, final walk through).  The also provide a 1 year home warranty and they honored every item I brought to their attention (all were very minor).  I would do business with them again.

I went to Red Door Homes to have a new home built in 2011. I paid for the home and was given a few options of lots that were available. The construction was fast but quality leaves a lot to be desired. During the inspection I pointed out some problems and it is a joke how they fixed them. I had a hole in the sheet rock in my garage and they tried to just plaster it and now it has "shrunk" and looks terrible. I also have a piece of re-bar sticking out of my foundation and was told they would take care of it but still there. The siding started to fall off whenever it was windy, they have since re-sided my house but just had another piece fall off. Red Door Homes does not pay the flooring installers to use leveler when installing the floor so my floor is uneven. Red Door has been trying to find a reason to not warranty the floor since 09/12, they have drilled a hole through my foundation and have found nothing. I email the warranty department and get no response. I would not recommend Red Door Homes to my worst enemy. I have talked to a neighbor who also lives in a Red Door home and was told some of the neighbors are talking a class action lawsuit.

I would never use them again.
