Contractor came to bid job and never did call back or return calls

Poured concrete next to old concrete, most contractors would use expansion material to prevent concrete breaking; not this one, new concrete has fallen apart. Has no respect for property; damaged siding, drove concrete truck on lawn causing damage, left form nails in foundation of house. Last step was to seal concrete, but the owner did it while it was raining, of course concrete never got sealed. If I was not around during their work they would not have replaced post for chain link fence gate. Owner will not take responsibility for property damage.

Did not take long to complete work. They do have issues respecting your property. Had concrete truck drive on front lawn creating ruts; did not fix or even offer to fix. Dented and damaged steel siding on house; again didn't take responsibility. They don't use proper construction practices; don't use expansion material when placing new concrete next to old concrete resulting in severe cracking. Owner of company showed up to seal concrete, but it started raining, this results in unsealed concrete.

Overall it went well.  I wasn't aware of the legal requirements for the building permit, so that could have been a problem.  These guy worked past that in a heartbeat.  All was inspected and passed fine.   Great job.

We brought to the owners attention that there where several areas that the rebar was not 2' on center instead it was 3' 4" on center. My husband redid the rebar as the concrete was goiong to be poured the next morning,he added in 200' more rebar. Also our contract stated that the rebar was to be 1/2" rebar and they would have tried to use 3/8" rebar if we didn't proveto him that it was in our contract. The owner was rude and had a temper tanterum when he was questioned about why it was not 2' on center by my husband. He told my husband that his workers don't use tape messures. This contractor tries to cut corners for a cheeper price if you don't keep a close eye on what they are doing!
