I had brought my car to a service shop to address an overheating issue. When that shop wanted to remove my radiator and send it to a radiator shop; I decided to just do it myself. I drove my car to C&R Radiator Inc. They listened to my symptoms and took the time to do a thorough diagnostic on the raditor. They told me my radiator was just fine The problem was the first shop hadn't bled all the air out of the cooling system. Apparently one of the plugs for bleeding the air had the top snapped off and required a bit more of an effort to pull the plug and bleed the air. Once they did that, they couldn't recreate the problem the first shop had said that the coolant wasn't flushing through the radiator.
