After calling Porter Construction, someone came to look at my roof the very next day and they immediately sent me a quote. I wanted someone to look at the roof from inside the attic to be sure more work did not need to be done. They arranged to meet me two days later. When I got home from work, they were waiting for me in the driveway. They came in, looked around, and told me nothing more needed to be repaired inside. Last fall, another contractor told me I needed to replace roof sheathing, repair roof joists, etc. The guys from Porter said no way. All that work did not need to be done. They guy who came out to look inside the attic didn't know I had already received a quote but again quoted me the same amount - $750. He said they needed to order some flashing in the color of the roof and would make the repairs soon. I came home from work the next day and all the repairs had been done already. They never asked for a down payment or anything. I have had several people look at the chimney where there has been a leak for some time. Two other different contractors did a bunch of calking but still didn't fix the leak! The guys from Porter Construction got it right the first time. I would definitely call them again or recommend them to anyone!
