The Key Place

Contacted business at 09:30 on Thursday 3/22/18. Sent all information (lock, door, key, etc to owners phone) and was told they would get back to me because they were out on calls. Called again at 15:39 that day and left message because had not called me back. Finally called me 18:10 (20 minutes prior to closing) the next day (Friday 3/23/18) apologizing about not returning my call and how important customers are etc. I informed them of my availability and that I would be off the following Monday, 3/26/18. The lady told me that it may be a straightforward repair or parts may need to be ordered but this would be determined when the situation was assessed. She said they would get back with me. After I got off the phone I did not hear back from them on Saturday (opened 09:00-15:00). They were closed on Sunday so I expected to hear from them on Monday the day I said I was off. No call on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, etc. After no return call for six days I realized their talk about customer service was nothing but that, just talk. On 4/2/18 i called CLS Cox Locksmith located a few miles away, we set an appointment date of 4/4/18 and they showed up as expected and was done in an hour. I definitely would not recommend the Key Place as a reliable Locksmith service because they simply might not show up or provide adequate explanation if service is not able to be rendered.
