Von Bullock presented information about the clean space encapsulation system, and relevant options.
My crawlspace had been measured to have high moisture levels and had some minor surface mold. The ground was covered with gravel, so vapor barriers had always been damaged when accessing under the house.
Regional Waterproofing removed the insulation from the floor joists and applied Mold X Mold Neutralizer to the floor joists showing signs of mold growth.
They installed a heavy-duty drainage mat to cover the gravel and protect the clean space system. They then installed 10 mil clean space material over the majority of the ground and 20 mil over the most accessible area. They then installed silverlight rigid insulation up the walls, sealed the vents, leaving the required gap for termite inspection. Finally they installed new electrical service and a dehumidifier to maintain the low humidity in the sealed crawl space.
The workers were excellent. They worked in areas where other contractors have refused to go because of low clearance. The job generated a great deal of waste, and it was cleaned up thoroughly.
There was one issue with a misunderstanding about the extent of the rigid insulation work, but after discussion with Von, it was resolved to my complete satisfaction.

It went very well. I felt like the company was very responsive and professional. They sent out a sales representative who was very thorough in explaining the process of waterproofing. They offered several different options for waterproofing. I would recommend them. They were professional and punctual. They offered competitive pricing. They did a very good job.

Overall the experience was great. The proposal was well explained and priced very competitively to other quotes I'd obtained. Their proposal however was more comprehensive in solving our water problems and preventing future damage. Other proposals did not fully address our water issues, and instead focused on the existing mold and the installation of a vapor barrier. The representative was patient with my decision-making process and flexible in scheduling, though the crew did arrive two hours early on the first day while we had another contractor on site performing other work. The crew did a great job of explaining things as the work went on and made an effort to minimize the dust and mess and to clean up the site after they had finished. We just had our first major rain yesterday, and there was no standing water in the crawl space or garage as had been typical before this work was performed. The mold is gone and the space is noticeable less humid.

While their estimate was not the lowest one I received, I preferred Regional's plan for my basement and crawlspace problems. They were able to schedule the work within a few weeks. The work itself was done efficiently and correctly. They professionally handled a couple of unexpected issues that came up during the installation. They worked hard to finish up late on the last day, so that they didn't have to return again the next day. They did not leave a mess behind.

This was a very big job. I felt I was in good hands. We called several people to come out but they were very busy. They all said to use the same company, Regional Waterproofing. I think that says a lot and what a better endorsement than from your competitors.

I ACTUALLY HEARD ABOUT THEM OVER THE RADIO. I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE THEM A TRY. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH HOW IT TURNED OUT. THEY HELPED ME OUT THE BEST THEY COULD. THEY SAID IF I HAVE ANY PROBLEMS TO JUST CALL.
