Ashes to Ashes has been our go-to for 5 years to have our chimney cleaned and this year they installed a new chimney cap. William is very knowledgeable and does a great job. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Inspection was done quickly, in order to have prior to closing on 11/1/13. Wood stove removal, heat shield installation, & the chimney cleaning was done in February. Damper had to be specially ordered & once received, was installed on 3/28/14. Part of that was because they do not take credit cards, due to fees charged to them by credit card companies. I had to wait until I had the money in my bank account to pay them.
I was extremely pleased with the professionalism & friendliness of the man who did the work. He even painted the damper handle so that it didn't show up too much on the back wall of the fireplace. He gave us suggestions as to where we could find a screen & a log cradle, so late in the season. The work was outstanding, no mess was left behind. I highly recommend this company if you ever need chimney repairs or cleaning.
