In attempt to modify my review of Lester's Plumbing, I did want to mention that I was notified that I would receive a refund for my service call due to the lack of diagnosis, which I do appreciate. As I mentioned in my previous review, I am more than willing to pay for service calls when the service promised (i.e. a diagnosis) is delivered. In my case, no diagnosis was provided. Many other reviews of this plumber show positive results.

Tech called 25 min prior to scheduled apt time to cancel, he ended up coming but 90 min late. The price quoted on phone at time of apt scheduling was $69 for visit and any additional fees depended on labor and parts for job. The repair was simple and required no parts , no tools and took about 1-2 minutes to complete. The total fee was $125.00 which was not told to me until after he completed. The breakdown is $69 for visit and $56.00 for a 1-2 min job that required no tools/parts. When I questioned the tech about price he advised that was because he was experienced and no negotiation.

The tech tried to cancel my appointment 25 min before appointment due to another plumbing emergency. I had already left work early to meet him so he agreed to come out later in day, he was 90 min later arrival than planned which was fine. Charged $69 for trip which I was advised when I arranged appointment and was told the rest of fee would depend on labor and parts. He charged an additional $56.00. for a job that took him about 2 min and no parts to repair and wouldn't go any lower. total $125.00 Very overpriced.

Had a problem with low hot water flow to kitchen sink. Brandon systematically diagnosed the problem and problem is now solved. Since I had a plumber scheduled I figured it was time to have the hot water tank flushed.

Woke up to water running in my crawl space. Called Lester's Plumbing and about an hour later Bret arrived and quickly repaired the busted water line in the crawl space. While in the crawl space, Bret found another slow leak from an old expansion tank. When I inquired about replacing the expansion tank, Bret explained that the tank really wasn't needed since I had an on demand hot water heater. Bret removed the expansion tank and capped off the line, saving me the cost of a new tank. While he was here I asked him to replace an outside faucet and he replaced that faucet as he had all the parts needed on his truck.
I was so impressed with the quality of the work and the courteous technician, I scheduled a return appointment the following week to have them descale my hot water heater and install some outlets and shutoffs, Bret arrived at the appointed time and completed all the work that I requested. Again, he was very courteous and explained everything that he was doing. Cost of second visit was $339.
Will definitely be using Lester's Plumbing in the future for my plumbing needs.

Was completely bungled by previous resident and installer of sink. He simplified the pipes and made the connection from disposal to the sink a straight alignment without extra pipes that weren't needed. Bret was very friendly and explained everything before he did it.

They're wonderful. They figured out the least expensive way to do it and it has worked perfectly. They were on time and I just really appreciate them. He gave us an estimate through the phone. He took a lot of information over the phone and he sent a person out. He was right on the money of what he was charging and that was very reasonable compared to other quotes we've had that were doing a much more involved procedure than needed to be done.

We regret to hear that you were not happy with the service that was performed on 10/16/13 for $300 (not on 2/24/15 for $350). At the time of service, the problem you were experiencing prior to the service call could not be reproduced. The tech discussed with you the extensive diagnostic procedures and cost involved and you agreed to proceed as discussed. Unfortunately, the tech found no problems while performing the various procedures so he couldn't resolve your issue. It is always our goal to efficiently find the problem and resolve it when we can."

My husband and I woke up on a very cold morning to find that our water was not running. We immediately knew that our pipes were frozen but we had no clue how to solve the problem safely, quickly, and in a cost effective manner. We looked on Angie?s list for a company with good reviews in our area. We found Lester?s Pluming Service. We called and told them our problem and they got us an appointment just hours later. We were appreciative of this due to our fear of our pipes boosting and not being able to shower, flush toilets, or cook. Brandon was on time, professional yet very approachable, and knowledgeable. I usually do not have service providers in my home unless my husband is home also. However, I felt more than comfortable with him. He did the job safely, quickly, and in a cost effective manner. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to others
