Glass Doctor of Winston-Salem

When I first called Glass doctor about having the glass replaced in our sliding patio door, they sent Jeff and Charles out to measure my doors the week before the installation to make sure we ordered the right size glass. The day of our installation I received a call from the office alerting me that the technicians would be arriving in 30 minutes. Jeff and Charles were the installers and did a marvelous job. They were courteous, enjoyable to have around and obviously enjoyed their work. They went the extra mile to make sure we were thoroughly satisfied with the installation. We are extremely satisfied with our new glass doors and with the work of Jeff and Charles. 

I was satisfied with my initial interaction with this company.  I obtained an estimate on 6/7/11.  The installer, Jeff was professional, and gave me an estimate of how long it would take for the glass to come in, which would be either the following Tuesday or Thursday, at which point he would be able to install it.  I called the following Tuesday and learned that the glass had indeed arrived.  I requested an appointment to have it installed on Thursday 6/16/11.  The woman at the scheduling center was rude and impatient.  I had mentioned that I could be available on Thursday, and she said that he would call when he was on his way.  It was difficult to get her to even provide a more specific time for me.  She said abruptly, "Fine, any time after 12:00 on Thursday.  He will call you when he is on his way."  I called on Thursday at around 1pm to see if I could check the status of the installer.  The woman answering the phone this time, though more courteous, stated that they did not have me scheduled at all for this date.  Though he already had a busy afternoon scheduled, Jeff was ultimately able to come at 4:00pm.  He was again courteous and professional.  And he did a great job with replacing the glass.  It is difficult to say whether or not I would use this company again.  Everything worked out in the end, and the installer was great, but I was not pleased with the person in the office, whose name I unfortunately cannot recall.  So it also is difficult to know how to rate my overall experience.  I would give the installer an A for his level of professionalism and quality of work, but I will have to give a C for my overall experience because of my issues with the office.

I FOUND THEM ONLINE. THEY WERE THE ONLY ONES IN OUR AREA WHO COULD DO THAT KIND OF SERVICE FOR A REASONABLE PRICE. IT WAS EXCELLENT. IT TOOK THEM ABOUT THREE AND A HALF HOURS AND THEY CLEANED UP AFTERWARDS. THE FINAL COST WAS LESS THAN THE QUOTE.
