When a double amount electric bill was received, the tenants notified management co to have a/c checked. the tech. mis-diagnosed problem and then next month when bill was 4 x's the amount for electric, the mgmt co. was once again notified. Multiple emails, phone calls and correspondence was sent. The mgmt co. refused to handle the situation, which was at no fault of the tenants and properly reported. Rent was paid after phone and emails sent, for the rent, less the amount of the excess electric bill, and without any notice, and after years of paying rent on time and as agreed, at 11 pm on a Saturday, the tenents were told they were going to be evicted. As a property owner myslef, I know what can and cannot be done, and to take young students and teachers and create panic and hundreds of dollars in excess cost. The management company is handling the situation illegally and unethically. They are not responsive, do not communicate or reply when asked. I would NEVER recommend this agency to anyone looking to rent or buy in the WIlmington NC area. We will be pursuing the situation through legal channels now.
