house painters
+ -1 moreI do not want them to return to finish the job and now I have to hire another company to finish. This has been a nightmare.
Description of Work: EAST CAROLINA ROOFING AND PAINTING were hired to paint the outside of my house. The owner, Stuart, sent 2 men to paint, As the job progressed, I found out that they had never painted before and they complained they were only receiving $8.00 per hour. Half way through the job, I noticed they were painting over dirt and not cleaning surfaces before painting. they also did not remove old caulking and did not caulk areas that needed it. The owner/manager, Stuart, never showed up to talk with me about the job being done or the problems. I was left to deal with all the issues. What this company did was criminal. I paid them a deposit before starting the job for materials. This was my first mistake.
