My first appointment was the first ultrasound, and we were very excited! The appt was after lunch and I was to return to work. I winded up not returning to work because the appt took more than3 hours! Dr. Valaoras had been called to the hospital because of an emergency labor. We weren't aware of this until after an hour of waiting in the waiting room, we had option of rescheduling or coming back in 40 mins , when they said he would be in. We chose to get something to eat and come back. When we were finally called back, the wait time in the exam room was over an hour. We were assured when checking out, that this was not normal. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt.However, each and every time I went, whether scheduled appt or work-in, the average time was about 90 min to 2 hours. Considering that since every min away from work i had to take sick leave that I was trying to save for maternity leave, i was upset. Also i felt somewhat hurried on some appts. The doctors were nice and answered my questions but the wait time was too much for me. Also they added another doctor to substitute some call days for them, but my understanding was that the doctor would never see patients in the clinic. So a doc that you've never met could deliver your baby. All of the staff was extremeley nice and couteous. They have a great triage nurse and the doctors were nice once I got to see them.Overall, my experience with Dr. Valaoras and Lewis' clinic was not a bad one. However, the wait time was cutting into time at work that I could not afford to lose. This was the ultimate decision that made me leave the practice as a patient.

They're the third OBGYN's we've tried. We would refer anyone to them. Their bedside manner is amazing. If you need them to sit down and talk to you for 30 or 45 minutes, they will. They take a lot of quality and care with their customers.

It's just a great practice. It's small so they are able to give a lot of attention to the patients. The doctors are very friendly and the nurses and office staff are very helpful. The doctors are very knowledgeable. It's just a great small practice.
