T & T Hardwood Floor

Bobby actually was able to start earlier than he expected.  He and his helper were punctual, worked long hours, and did an excellent job. The water stains came out much better than we expected. I am extremely pleased with his work ethic and professionalism. He clearly has a passion for his work and knows his craft.  I would certainly hire him again. 

A detailed diamond two-tone pattern in the foyer was completed with a few requests for touch-ups where the dark tone had bled into the taped region but Bobby was dedicated to doing a nice job and took considerable pride in the unique but beautiful pattern.
Scattered throughout the lower level, wood filler he had applied to spaces between the planks began coming out, taking the stain with it. Bobby applied three coats of oil based polyurethane. He applied two coats, then sanded with sand paper before applying the third and final coat.  By the end of the first year, we began noticing that the stain was wearing off, revealing the natural wood in a number of locations: in front of the kitchen sink, in front of the refrigerator, to either side of the oven and on the stairs to the second floor. When we asked him to come over and look at the issue he did, and said it was from our dogs. If it was the dogs, it would be occurring throughout the downstairs, not just in areas in the kitchen and stairs that get the most foot traffic. Our opinion is that he removed so much of the first two coats of polyurethane when he sanded, there was effectively just one coat when it was all said and done.
Specifically in the kitchen where the wood surface was new the stain is almost down to the wood. We had been willing to just have him return the toe moldings and extra stain and call it a day--but he never did, and hasn't returned our calls.
Because this is a large project I feel your clients would not be deserving of the additional expense and inconvenience it will take for us to finally have the quality we anticipated. The stain and urethane he applied didn't last as long ( a year?) as the prior stain that had been applied decades prior.

Bobby was significantly less costly than a few other companies we got quotes from and was very friendly and always very quick to call us back or pick up when we called to inquire about how the work was progressing. Our floors look very good and this price included new finished moulding as well as our parquet refinished also in our foyer.

Bobby was fantastic, he worked around our tight schedule and installed the hardwoods when he said he would and within the time frame quoted. The work was excellent and we have no complaints. He went above and beyond to match the existing stain color of the hardwoods installed in the family room over 15 years ago. We were very pleased with his work.

Originally everything went well and we gave him good reviews . Then a few months later the floor started to buckle .We called and asked him to come and check it out . He didn't call or come by .We called again and he said that he was busy and he would call us as soon as he finished his new job. We never heard from him again and we had to take care of it ourselves.

Bobby scheduled the initial appointment and arrived on time. He measured the rooms and was able to contact me and give me his quote over the phone. (I would have preferred a written copy of the quote but he reported he did not have the technology to provide this). Upon agreement of the work to be done, they arrived to do the work and completed the work within the time frame initially agreed upon. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves when the job was done. He communicated to me via phone as the work progressed. I paid half of the sum after the floors were installed and the final payment after the work is completed. I am VERY HAPPY with the floors, both old and new. They are beautiful and now the floors are level where possible. In the areas needing transitions, he worked very hard to make it as slight as possible, given that this was an old house with some settling, The transitions were great. I would strongly recommend Bobby and his team again!!!

Everything looks beautiful. He did a really excellent job - we are so pleased with his work. We'd have Bobby and his crew any time to restore other flooring in the house if needed. Definitely recommended for historic homes. He really knows wood floors!

Bobby and his crew did a wonderful job. We have a beautiful result! He was initially contracted to install hardwoods in 2 bedrooms and hall. When he removed carpet and discovered existing hardwoods in bedroom, he didn't miss a beat. Sanded them completely, and matched them and new hardwoods in hall to existing hardwoods in rest of house. Crew was professional and polite throughout and Bobby supervised from start to finish. Put up plastic to protect rest of house. Entire job took 4 days and was much less intrusive than I thought it would be. Much less dust than I anticipated--and poly dried quicker than anticipated, so by airing front of house out, the smell was gone after each coat in a matter of a few hours. They cleaned up well afterwards and moved furniture back, with Bobby dusting as he went. He adjusted price to above cost when he realized hardwoods not needed in bedrooms. My only regret is not doing this sooner! Would not hesitate to recommend Tand T.

The price was reasonable. They were excellent. They showed when they said they would and did an excellent job.

I called him on a Friday and we set an appt for Monday. He was able to start work the next week and was finished within the week. The floors never looked so good!

It went great. The floor looks awesome.

Bobby arrived when he said he would to measure and give me an estimate. He was very professional, yet personable. The estimate was more than reasonable and we established a start date of 6/25/2012. He stated it would take 5 days from start to completion. He showed up on the appointed date and began the sanding process and by the end of day 3 the sanding was completed, shoe mould placed and first clear coat applied. The next morning the final clear coat was applied and by 4 o'clock the next day I was able to walk on the floors. The result is AMAZING. I have already recommended him to friends and family without reservation.

Bobby showed up when he said he would, and gave us a cost immediately after doing his measurements. He started work the very next day, and finished in a little over a week. When he was finished, it looked like a different house! His workmanship and cleanliness were excellent. I would use him again in an instant.

Booby did an excellent job. I had badly warped kitchen floors from a previous owner. He was able to sand down the floors and make them look brand new again. Other companies tried to talk me into replacing the floors, but he was confident that he could make the floors look like new again. Very happy with my experience, and would highly recommend their services.

They did an unbelievable job. I would recommend them without any reservation what so ever. His work was perfect. It needed to match up to an old hard wood floor in the hallway. I was always been very picky about the color and he worked on matching it until he made me very happy. I think that I am a particular customer as I say I was asking a lot. He did absolutely everything he could to make me happy. Price wise I did not do a huge amount of comparison shopping for a floor installed that way. We looked into pre-finished floors and the pre-finished floor was going to cost at least this much. The reason we chose him is because he was already been so highly recommended by Angies List. I really thought that the custom done floor would match with anything that I have seen so far. So I cannot really compare him to somebody who does the same exact thing. But it seemed very fair. There was actually only one problem and it did take them a while to get back to me and it took them a while for them to get started. I don't know if that means that they have a great deal of business. I was willing to wait for him because I had been told that he is back. If you are in a hurry that might be a problem, meaning if you want to get it done as soon as possible, that would be a problem.. I think he thought he would get around to it sooner than he did. But that would my only possible no. I would absolutely use them in the future instead of the rugs that I have down in a couple of other rooms. Another thing about Bobby the owner is that he is Vietnamese. He can get his point across but you need to listen very carefully.

Tand T's team arrived quickly to estimate cost and were soon available to get to work. The floors were sanded and they took the time to hang plastic to protect other areas of the house from dust. After the sanding was complete, shoe molding was installed (even in the closets!), and the sealer was applied (a second coat was applied the next day). We could not be happier with the quality of work that was completed. We received quotes from three different companies and this was the lowest price (1600, 2300, and 2800); given the ratings on Angies List we weren't afraid to move forward and we are sure glad we did. A top notch job, professionally executed.

Two rooms in the house had floors that looked awful when we bought it. One of these rooms had stained carpet and when we pulled it up there was damage to the floor below. The other room had floors that had been cleaned with bleach and something stuck to the floor. The owner, Bobby Pham, came and gave us an estimate that was below the other 3 estimates I got. He came and did the work over several days and finished exactly when he said he would. He put down a stain that minimized the damage to the floors. It looks beautiful.

They did a great job. Bobby was very professional and every phase of the job was done professionally and well. The vent covers put in were matched to the floor and embedded in the floor, and the transitions between the stairs to the basement, living room, and other adjacent rooms and bathrooms were very professionally done and look wonderful. Highly recommended.

Wow! You can not tell where the old and the new floors are now. The price was great and the job was done well. Bobby is very customer-service oriented. Sidenote: we had major scratches from carpet removal from a few decades ago - they couldn't get them out - I expected this.
