Great, repaired quickly. Repair was performed almost two years ago, and it is still in condition same as post-repair. All working great.

My experience with them went very well. They tried to charge me for two hours of labor but when I checked with my tenants, they told me they were not there for two hours. They told me the time when they got there, so I told them they were there only for an hour and a half. When I got the bill, I called them and told them and they changed it; I thought that was nice. They really worked with me to get someone out as soon as possible.

Salem Electric does mostly industrial work, but their small residential department was faster than any other provider I called in getting me an estimate and a scheduled work date. Mark even solved two problems for no charge while providing the estimate. He quoted me a flat price for the work and told me frankly that I might be able to get it done more cheaply elsewhere.
I decided to go ahead because I wanted the work done on my own schedule.
I had work done on four switches/outlets and six lighting fixtures, including the installation of two entirely new fixtures that required wiring.
The installation team arrived timely, and did all of the work quickly, pleasantly and efficiently without a price change. It was also done neatly and leaving the walls and ceilings looking good. Two fixtures of the fixtures installed had arrived before they were expected, but because they were able to install them within the time budgeted, there was no extra charge. While I had one problem after they left, it was a defective switch that I had supplied, and in no way the fault of Salem Electric. I was able to use what I had learned while getting the estimate to resolve the problem without calling them.
I am satisfied with their work, and would certainly call them again, whether for an emergency or while calling for bids in planning improvements.

I had used them for 2 or 3 jobs over the course of a year and I have known them for about 10 or 15 years. They are a very reliable electrical company. They were excellent and I didn't have any problems with them. The quality of service was excellent and I will use them again in the future.

Called for an estimate.Someone called me back and gave me an estimate. I went ahead and set up a date for them to come by. They gave me a 2 hour range of when they would show up. They showed up at the beginning of the range and were done in 45 minutes. Both men were very polite and wore covers on their shoes so not to track dirt in the house. Everything went great.
