We wanted to have laminate flooring (that we purchased ourselves) installed in our family room. The job required removal of the existing carpet and padding, installation of the flooring and shoe moulding, and covering of a couple of transition areas with other wood. Although their estimate was the lowest of three, they included more labor and materials than the other two companies. They paid attention to the little details (like buying and staining the shoe moulding and putting oak hardwood flooring in the transition areas) that the other companies did not offer to do. They came exactly on time, did the work very efficiently, and left everything clean. The quality of their work was excellent. Above all, they were very courteous and professional. After they removed the carpet, they asked me to look at the flooring that was underneath it. They pointed out that it was pine that had been painted, and that I could have the paint removed and the wood refinished instead of covering it with the laminate. They said that they did not do refinishing, but if I wanted to do it, they would stop the job and charge me for only the removal of the carpet. They would have lost the rest of the job, but it was important for them to be honest with me about what they had found. The final cost was exactly the same as the estimate. After they left, I discovered that they had forgotten to put a door back on its hinges, and called them to see if they could come the next day to take care of it. They apologized profusely, and came first thing the next morning. I was surprised at how bad they felt about it. This company is outstanding, and I would recommend them to anyone.
