I wanted a local company to repair my LG washing machine and found Midway Appliance on Linwood-Southmont Rd in Lexington. I called midmorning Weds; the phone was answered promptly and was informed that I would shortly be receiving a call from a service tech to schedule a time. About 90 minutes later, Sam called and made an appt for later afternoon. Sam quickly identified the problem but had to order a part. He provided an estimate for the cost of the repair and when it could be completed. The part arrived late Friday and he came by 9am Saturday morning to install, put the washer back in its place, and ran it through a test mode. Worked perfectly! Total cost was $240 for part, labor, and service call. I felt that was very reasonable given the cost of the part.

Excellent quick response and professional service from this family -owned company. Extremely reasonable price and pleasant service personnel. Knowledgeable and connected -- he immediately knew what was needed, obtained the part locally and replaced it the very next day. I highly recommend this appliance company and will be using them for all my future appliance needs.

As before (MA serviced my refrigerator last winter), prompt, courteous, efficient service and communication. Turns out the washer had a rusted out spring, which was replaced for a nominal fee. Now it fills, spins, and drains properly. Dryer vent is LONG, and took much longer to clean than most, but tech brushed and blew it out, even had to disassemble it under the house to finish the job. Clothes dry faster, and less lint and moisture in the house! Tech also swept behind appliances while they were out, and cleaned up all the lint extracted from the vent. Not only would I call MA again, I have recommended them to a close friend who was also pleased with the service call. One of the other things I like about MA is they don't try to sell me a new appliance like most repair shops do. I love having a good dependable repair service available who take pride in keeping my appliances purring.

As soon as he left it didn't work again. He came aback and diagnosed it as a problem with the water connection. He said that he part would cost $160 and it would take 2-3 weeks to get it. It's working now. He didn't charge me for the second visit. They are good they've been here several time for several things. Their service call is only $49. They are very responsive

The heating element in my Whirlpool clothes dryer went out. I called Midway Appliance service late on a Monday afternoon, and they arrived promptly the next morning. They quickly diagnosed the problem, removed the broken part, showed me what had caused the part failure, and replaced the part all for a very reasonable price.

He gave me the facts & my options. Everything was worked out the day after the consult. The cost of a service call is lower than any than any other repair service I've dealt with. He kept me informed through text messages & was very responsive. He is trustworthy, knowledgeable & professional. Sam is a guy you feel blessed to have found! Highly recommend!!

I called them at 7:15 a.m. Monday morning and spoke with Sam. I told him about the refrigerator and freezer not getting cold and asked if someone could come by today. He said they had some jobs in Lexington and would be able to come by between 10:00 am and 2 pm. I said that would be fine. Sam said they would call when they were on their way. I told him that my sister would be there and gave him my number at work. I got a call from them 15 minutes before they came. They diagnosed the problem with in a few minutes. So it did not take long and our refrigerator and freezer started working again. I would recommend them to anyone.

Called and was returned with a phone call and service within a few hours! Very polite servicemen. Looked over my machine and said couldn't find anything. Was charged for service call, but said if have ANY problems to call back. Will continue to use them in the future for issues.

I called on Thursday morning. Sam called back Thursday afternoon and came by on Friday. He diagnosed the problem but didn't have the right part. He ordered it and said it would probably be Monday when he got back. He called on Saturday and had the part so he came over and fixed the problem. We both forgot to check the ice maker and when we tried to make ice, it did not work. Sam came back on Monday and found the water supply had frozen at the ice maker. He fixed it for no charge because he said he should have caught that on Saturday. I was pleased with the final charge, especially since he had to come over 3 times. It was a great experience and I will definitely call again when I need his service.

Courteous "front desk" employee took my information and said I would be called by a tech shortly. Five minutes later Issac called and said he thought he could see me next day in the morning but might be able to stop by today. I mentioned how important getting same day service was to me, and he said he would try to at least stop by. A few hours later he called and said another tech would take care of the call. Sam called me a half-hour later and said he was on his way. He showed up about 20 minutes later.
Sam did everything I expected - checking breaker boxes, breakers on outlets, and then set to taking the front panel off my dishwasher. He chatted with me and my wife while testing various components until he found a bad fuse, which he removed and showed us. He had one on his truck which he installed. Replaced the panel to the dishwasher and turned our breaker back on. The dishwasher returned to life as if a cleaning cycle had been suspended. He stayed long enough to verify that water was draining from the previous cycle and that a new cycle would begin.
I paid with my credit card and we're up and running. Time from first contact to completion of service was maybe 4 hours. I really can't ask for better speed or service than this.

Things did not go well from beginning to end. I called Midway for an appointment and was told that possibly someone could come out the same day or the following day. Midway called me back in the afternoon and said they could not come that day, but would be out the next day around 12 or 1 pm. I waited until 2 pm that day, called Midway to see if the tech was coming. I was then told they did not have my correct phone # and that is why the had not come out, but would be out later in the day.
If Midway called me the previous day, how is it possible to not have my correct phone# the following day.
The technician arrived at 4 pm. He was pleasant enough and listened to my concerns. He turned the dishwasher on and off a few times and then informed me that I would have to replace the pump and motor assembly to the tune of $230-$250. How is one able to make such a diagnosis without so much as looking at what might be the potential defective part.
I had done my own research on the repair of this particular dishwasher prior to the techs arrival and manufacturer's site stated the the problem could be a clogged drain hose, a drain pump, followed by the pump and motor assembly. Of course the drain pump was a lot less expensive that the pump and motor assembly. I was perturbed and unhappy with this clairvoyant diagnosis. I paid a $55 service charge for less than a 1/2 hour of time spent and NO satisfaction.
Based on the previous, I had another company come out to look at the dishwasher. The tech pumped out the water, suctioned the hose found a stuck piece of plastic. Problem solved.
So no I'm out $55 for a company who did nothing to solve my issue and was going to sell me a service I did not need. Let's just say I AM NOT HAPPY. I will not use this company in the future.

Called with my concern at 8 am. Had someone at my home by 11. Assessed the problem and repaired it within 30 minutes. Were upfront about pricing. Final bill was less than estimate. Paid $95 but that included a $23 part.

Called them first thing this morning because our range had become 'possessed' and was turning on and off. They were at our house within an hour. They diagnosed the issue as a problem with the breaker and had the part on hand to fix the problem. They were prompt and professional. Outstanding service. Highly recommend!
