My husband took a suit in that he was to wear as a groomsmen in a wedding. It needed the pants hemmed-the length was unfinished as it was a brand new suit-so you can have it hemmed to the exact length, and one sleeve needed to be shortened. They were very nice and professional and told us it would take 1-2 weeks, which was fine with us. Called a week later that it was complete and I went to pick it up ( it was packaged back in the original bag.) Fast forward 1 month to the wedding as my husband is getting dressed 2 hours before and we realize the pants were never hemmed!!! There is 8 extra inches of unfinished fabric edge hanging off the bottom of his pants with the pins still in from the tailor! Cue Panic! Luckily our hotel had a sewing kit and I quickly threw a few stitches just to hold the extra fabric inside the pants. Not pretty, but at least it's not too obvious. Now, this is partly our fault, as we didn't check the suit beforehand. But both of us assumed that hemming is easy and didn't need to double check the length. My husband did try on the jacket to make sure the sleeve was good, but just didn't bother with the pants. Haven't been back to Magdalens-as it had been so long since the work was done we figured they wouldn't remember us, and you don't get a receipt or any other paperwork other than a claim ticket, so there's nothing to prove. Will go back and give them a chance to rectify it, and the work they did on the sleeve was fine. Just not a great situation for the first time using a tailor. Made a stressful day even worse. Lesson learned: ALWAYS double check everything!

They were able to replace my coat button AND they made sure all the others were secure. Done in one day. Great fast service considering It was right before Christmas and I was going out of town and needed that coat for my winter travel.

They are quick and accurate with their adjustments. They have done a very good job. They are very experienced. They are also encouraging and postive. Their prices are also very reasonable.

Magdalen has done stuff for me too. She is very professional and does an excellent job. She is hands on, very personable, and certainly knows her business.
