We purchased our home in April of 2021 and received a recommendation to use Joe Goode Flooring to replace the carpet in our home. We met with Joe on April 1st and selected the carpet type - Essential Design II by Mohawk. Joe showed up promptly on April 22nd as agreed and installed the new carpet. We were told that the carpet has a lifetime warranty against stains and other specific wear concerns etc. Also Joe offered a 1 year 100% satisfaction guarantee for any installation issues or concerns. Unfortunately it took months of continuously contacting Joe Goode to even get an invoice for the carpet we purchased (and paid for) and have yet to receive the warranty information. I have contacted Joe via text and phone calls no less than a dozen times or more over the last 8 months. We have issues with fraying and separating seams between the hall and bedrooms that I have sent him pictures of that he agreed to come repair, however that never seems to happen. At this point, we don't have anything supporting a warranty or even proof that we received the carpet we were told we purchased. $5,000 is a considerable amount to pay for carpet & labor containing NO warranty information. I definitely do not recommend this company.

Joe Goode Flooring came out on time on Oct.8 2010 and installed the floor in one day. However, the floor began to pop and crackle the day after installation. I called on Oct.9 and got no answer so I left a message asking them to call. After leaving many messages, they finally came to the house Nov. 8 without any tools. They said the floor was in too tightly and there was not room for expansion. They borrowed some tools and took up the shoe molding and cut back the boards a little. They also scuffed my newly painted walls in the process and broke some of the shoe molding.
The floor began making noises again the next day. I began calling again and leaving messages. Joe Jr. finally returned a call and said they would come out after Thanksgiving. I called Dec.1,2 and left messages. The father, Joe Goode Sr. came out on Dec.9. He made some adjustments and said that should fix it, but it didn't. He also told me, in front of a witness that I should only deal with him, Joe Sr. and not the son. Additionally he said that regardless of the warranty date he would fix the floor to my satisfaction. The floor continues to make noise, I have left more than 20 messages on both the father and the son's voice mail. No one ever returns my calls
I talked to Joe Jr. in June and he said that he felt that the materials were the problem and I should get the Armstrong representative to come out and inspect the floor. The Armstrong rep came out in August and inspected the floor. He said the problem was with the installation of the product. He wrote a report and sent it to me along with information from Armstrong stating that popping and cracking are the only things not covered under warranty because this occurs when the floor is installed improperly.
I sent the representative's report plus the Armstrong information by registered mail to both Joe Sr.& Joe Jr. Joe Sr. signed for the letter, Joe Jr. didn't. It was returned to me. I have called 5 or 6 times since then and have left messages. I have gotten no response.

He has good prices and service. He will help you pick out the carpet also. He is great! They are quick and neat. They don't mess up your walls. I have never had them do a bad job.
