JACKS NEW GRASS LAWN MOWER

Upon recommendation from Snapper, I brought my lawnmower in for repair to Jack’s as a repair under warranty. The service writer made a copy of my receipt, the verification that the lawnmower was under warranty. I asked if they would repair it under warranty as a Snapper authorized dealer - he said yes, if the issue was covered. Therefore, I asked they call me if not covered by warranty; however, the next call I received was to say they repaired it at the cost of almost $100 - I did not authorize it and when I brought this to Jack’s attention, he said nothing was written on the work order to say to call me first. I know I asked the service writer to call me first - he failed to write it down. Jack offered no concession, no apology, nothing. Yes, they repaired it but did not communicate with me as I requested.

Bottom line is they repaired the mower but did not communicate with me as requested before repairs. Just like a car, that you believe they will repair under warranty, if the next call you get is they repaired it but the cost is $1,000, that would not be acceptable.

I advise that if you use Jack’s for warranty repair, watch them write down on the work order to “Call before repair” or take it to another authorized repair dealer.

Happy with the service, had the blades changed and a belt replaced. Will gladly do business with them again. They picked up and dropped off the mower for me.

It went well. They did a good job for me. They were friendly. It’s just that they didn’t express to me upfront how long it would take. It took a while longer to get my weed eater back than I thought it would but the job was done and it’s operating very well still.

Repair work was great. Easy to drop off and pick up. A few staff members need to cheer up a bit, but then again we all have bad days.

I showed up an hour before closing on a Saturday but they stayed late setting up and delivering my mower.  They were very up front with the features, pricing and options on the mower.  As they set it up I saw many good examples of their customer service as other customers came in for parts or repair advice.  They even hauled off my old tractor, repaired it and sold it on consignment for much more than I thought I would get.  I'd highly recommend them if you are in the market for a new mower or to service your existing equipment.

I called Jack's to see if I could get a part for my tiller.  The tech confirmed the correct part and promised to have it there the next day.  All was done exactly right.  A couple of years ago my pressure washer would not run.  Jack diagnosed it as a bad carburetor and offered to order and install the right one and bill the warranty.  All was done exactly as he promised.

Great service from Jacks.  The estimate was accurate and the work was done on time and mower runs like new.

Almost perfect service for 10-15 years! (one time they forgot I had asked them to fix the mower's headlights)Started using Jack's New Grass when they were in the old location maybe 10-15 yrs ago .

They quoted the work at $70 and that is what it ended up costing. The work was done sooner than they estimated.

I bought my mower from Jack's 25 years ago. They have serviced it through the years. When Honda stopped making riding mowers, the replacement parts got hard to get. Two years ago Jack sold me a parts mower just like mine for $100. I have harvested many parts and saved a lot of money trying to keep my old clunker going. The mower broke down again a month ago and I decided to do a serious restoration rather than buy a new mower for $1200-2000. Jack, his family and crew helped me find new parts and gave plenty of sound advice on how to do repairs. Now I am back running with a machine that may run again for a couple of years. Thanks to Jack's for helping me and my mower survive.

If I want advice on yard equipment I would trust Jack. He should know. He gets to repair them. He only sells equipment that he would personally use and recommend. Jack's will pick up and deliver your equipment. If you want fast service, get your equipment serviced during the winter months. There is a wait in the spring time to get your equipment back. The only problem I had was that I needed to buy a new battery for the Snapper soon after I purchased it. I think that it had been sitting outside for too long. It was a "last year's model".

Knowledgeable, technical approach to mower problems. They picked up & deliver. They repair only what needs to be done.

I had him work on my lawn mower. I have used him for years. He is a little late for work, but I think that is because of the summer season. I will continue to use him.
