They came when they said they could. The plumber tried to repack an old valve on my main with graphite but it cracked so he had to replace it completely. This changed to price they quoted me. I understand this but my problem was with the pressure valve they told me I needed. It raised the price considerably and I later found out that I already had a pressure valve in my house. These guys are supposed to be the professionals they should have seen that I already had a valve before they added this expensive part. It's like I was sold a car with 5 wheels instead of 4. They also asked that I pay in full the moving of a toilette before the work would be completed. I have a near perfect credit rating and this seemed fishy. After this they wouldn't take my calls so I contacted Bedenheimer and had them do the work. I now have great plumbers and won't be calling Excel again

I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly the plumber came after my call to the office. He called me prior to coming and coordinated with my schedule easily. When i saw him do the task I realized I could have done it, had I known WHAT to do, but that's why I paid him. Another pleasant surprise was the bill. Even though i think it's a lot of money for what was required, it was less than I thought it would be based on my thoughts about plumbers and service repair people in general.
