Found guilty in the State of North Carolina for breach of contract on 30 May 24. See Forsyth County Small Claims Court Case: 24-CVM-3730. Case can be requested by County Clerk. Per case verdict. "Plaintiff and defendant (Edward Harmon) entered into an agreement for a renovation project. Plaintiff later learned that defendant (Edward Harmon) was not a licensed general contractor, which was required to complete the projected and the defendant (Edward Harmon) thus committed a crime. Plaintiff terminated the agreement and after termination, plaintiff made numerous attempts to communicate with Defendant (Edward Harmon) for the return of funds paid to Defendant (Edward Harmon) and the materials purchased on plaintiff's behalf. However, the Defendant (Edward Harmon) has failed and refused to communicate with Plaintiff and to return the funds paid."

Terrible. NEVER HIRE THIS CLOWN. He took.our money and never finished the job. I filed a report on him in Raleigh. This guy Edward Harmon is a complete rip off.

Customer service was awful. Communication by text or phone. He constantly had excuses for not showing up for days or a week. Constant family drama requires him to constantly leave job or no show. Took longer than quoted only because of this. Had trouble getting a contract from him. Also will not provide materials price list. (I paid him and he picked up merchandise). He states he doesn’t have all receipts and I am left with lots of material I can’t return. Also requested white cabinets and after install he tells me open sides were extra to be all white. Very disappointed in how he runs business. I am currently still trying to get materials list. Would not recommend him, especially on Angie’s List!!!!

"I do apologize for the bad experience and that i couldnt personally be there everyday but my crew was still there working every day and as I explained at the time I was out due to the fact my family got covid and didn't want to expose your family nor my crew or there families to it a couple of them are high risk also right before Christmas my uncle was hospitalized with covid pneumonia and passed away due to it."

I called to get a an estimate to have my basement mudded and sanded for the new drywall I just hung. I talked with Eddie and I told him what i needed done and explained I had hung the drywall myself and that it may not be the best work. He have me an estimate of 2800 + material. I asked multiple times if he would come by to take a look so that the estimate was correct and that he knew what he was coming into. He stated he didnt need to and stated that depending on the work needed it may take extra time and that would be billed based on the hourly rate. When it was said and done, he stated that the job could have been done in 3 days but instead it took 9 and asked for more money and brought my total up to 3694.84. On top of that, the ceiling was not finished properly and it was incredibly rough. I called and texted immediately with pictures. It took over a week for him to send someone back to fix the issue which took 2 days and it still needs touch up. Eddie is a nice guy but I would not recommend or ensure you demand he sees the job before starting. He put my project behind a week or so. Update as of 2/13/2023 Update from previous review. Eddie, would not respond to follow up calls to correct outstanding issues. I am now going to have to hire someone else to cleanup his work.

"There was alot of different variables that went in to this that you didn't mention.I told you the day I got there that there was going to be extra charges because of all the little tiny pieces in multiple walls and I never said it could have took I said it should have only taking 3 days and because of the manner you hung the sheetrock it ended up taking 9 days and I ate all of the cost. In order for me to complete your job it cost me $650.00 more then I got paid because of the work that had to be done to make it right and even though we talked about the extra and it cost me more then I made to do the job I still sent my guys back to try and make it right by you and truly sorry for the delay my family had the flu and we spoke about it multiple times.Im sorry for the bad experience but I feel that we should have got a better rating"

Eddie was super fast to respond to my request, and come out and give me an estimate. Work scheduled and completed in a timely fashion, great work at a very reasonable price. Have already hired again for deck repairs, wood floor refinishing, and painting the house inside and out. Highly recommend this trustworthy individual and company.
