Mike was very responsive, in fact he returned my inquiry request Call while he was on vacation and set-up a time the very next week. We loved not just his vision and 30 years of experience, but also his laid back and confident demeanor. Competitive pricing and his team worked very hard to complete our project i the timeline he told us it would. Our expectations have been exceeded and we highly recommend them!

I have used Mike Boland's company for six or seven years. He designed and installed a landscape lighting design for the back  property (.75 acres) and upgraded the existing lighting in the front of the house. The place looked amazing when he completed the job, installing about two dozen lights of various types in two lighting zones. Neighbors commented on how tasteful and enchanting the property looked. Moreover, the lighting in the back, which backs onto a pond and five acres of woodland, gave my wife additional security when she was home alone. After working with Mike for a year or so I discovered that he's adept at installing and repairing fountains and was able to get our large three-tier fountain to finally work.

Between the time we originally got our proposal and the time we had installation, we had a financial issue and had to make some changes on what we had done. Mike was wonderful with working with us and scaling back on a few things. 
Mike and his assistant were great. They showed up when they said they would, they worked hard, and answered all our questions. We are so pleased with all our lighting. We wonder why we didn't do deck lighting sooner, but are glad we waited to get someone like Mike to do the job. We will definitely call him again when we're ready to put in additional lights. Custom Landscape Lighting did a terrific job. Mike consulted with me before and during the installation and was open to design suggestuions from me while offering outstaning ideas that hadn't occured to me. The whole installation and maintenance was completed in about six hours. The system was checked out thoroughly with minor adjustments made here and there. Great attention to detail. They cleaned up the area competely after the installation work was done.

Mike Boland is an experienced landcape designer whi knows about horticulture and has an excellent eye for the selection and placement of lights. I have used him for our landscape lighting on several occassions; he designed and installed an extensive landscape design for our back yard that perfectly supplemented what already existed in the front.I came across Custom Landscape Lighting when I needed work done on the system four years ago and discovered that he had acquired the company that did the original lighting.
